When I first tried on this jacket, I thought that it was too short length-wise and I would have to return it. I tried it on again and decided to test it out, and I ended up loving it! It is a bit on the short side, but I like that it doesn't come down too long and cover my legs when I'm running. It is great for windy days, and is very light when you don't need it anymore mid-run. Glad I ended up keeping it!

Overall I love this jacket. It packs up so tight and is so light when wearing. The two snaps are great when I don't want the jacket flapping in the wind. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because the zipper just started to give me problems. Other than that it's my new go-to wind/light rain jacket.

Love the bright non-neon color for visibility. The zipper seems very delicate and I'm a bit worried it will be the first thing that fails. Love the shaped hood. Glad I bought it.

This jacket was way too short in the body; I'm 5'7 with long limbs but pretty regular torso. But I loved the jacket's snaps, pockets, and lightweight fabric -- so I returned and bought the men's. It's the perfect length (and though a bit too big in the body, nothing unworkable). I run hot, and it's perfect weight/coverage and breathable so far. I'm using it for midwest winter runs and outdoor bootcamp-style workouts.

Light, compact, breathable, effective in light rain, excellent quality. Unfortunately it's a black coat to be worn in dark rainy weather, so I'm surprised it has no reflective patches. This would be 5 stars if it did.

Love the fit and feel, but after an hour in the rain, I was not dry. Maybe it would work better in a light rain for less time. Overall a great jacket

Great jacket and very waterproof but runs small. I?m usually a XS/S and ordered a small- short ok the torso and with the hood on it?s even shorter. Would definitely size up one or even two sizes.

Pros: wind resistant (truly makes a difference to keep you warm, to/from a workout!), zipper hand pockets, lock-down hood when rolled up and not in use, compacts down into a packable mesh backpack. Cons: it's only water resistant, so when wearing it in downpour rain or kayaking, you'll still be soaked underneath, no drawstring cord on the bottom hem, no thumbholes to keep sleeves in pace (the men's version has thumb loops).

Runs small

I loved the color but it really was too dark when I saw it in person. I ordered a small. It seemed to fit ok but had a few strange bumps in places. I have returned it. I love Brooks generally!

Just received, and had to return. It does run small. I usually wear XS-S in tops/Jackets.(It was a small) I am 5ft 2 in, 108 labs. Small frame. I will just get a Medium. It seems like it'll be a nice wind breaker jacket for running though

I like the lightweight fabric. The fit is perfect for running but a little shorter than I expected. Definitely rain resistant not waterproof but I like it for drizzly days on the run.

Not warm enough for cold weather and not loose enough to add layers under.

Sleeves are too short, body is too wide and the length of jacket is too short.

Very thin and not worth the price.

Light weight read paper thin, I can usually fit some children's hats and the hood on this was too small and useless.
