My 7 year old loves these! He only keeps shoes about 3 to 4 months max, as his feet grow so fast. We always buy him the XW size as his feet are also wide. This is the ONLY brand my kid can wear! And they are so comfortable that he tries to sneak off to bed wearing them. He never wants to take them off because he says they feel so good. I will go ahead and order another pair in the next size for him.

A perfect shoe for our kid! Hardy and durable. He’s convinced he runs faster with them. He loves the laces and the extra color that came with them! :)

Great color and fit! Love the hook on the back to help child get on. We would’ve kept for all the reasons above but his special inserts required us to move to high tops instead. Will purchase these again when special inserts are no longer needed!

My son has very wide feet. New Balance extra wide shoes are the only brand he feels comfortable in. These are great. We buy them every year!

My son loves his new shoes. Ample room for his orthotics and wide feet. Ordered wide size and fit is perfect. Son loves the wild colors. Mom doesn’t like the white already dirty, but what can you do?????? Thanks New Balance for making a great model of shoes for kids in wide sizes that are supportive for overpronators yet move appropriately with the foot for all activities from running to baseball. Icing on the cake is that the shoelaces stay tied without double knotting!

So far, our son loves these shoes! The only note is that he’s just had them for a few weeks and already one of the laces is fraying. It’s not a huge deal, but for kids' shoes that are the same price as adult shoes, that’s annoying--makes me feel like other parts of the shoe will wear quickly in the months to come. But for the moment, our son is happy with them.

I wanted to love these, but they are wearing much faster than others given the price point. My son started wearing these in mid-May, and not even three months later, there’s a hole in the mesh, the fabric around the foot opening is coming apart, and some of the pattern is lifting off the shoe (this last element is superficial, but I would still think they could use a stronger adhesive.) I posted several months ago about one of the shoelaces starting to fray early on, and sadly, the overall quality of the shoe just isn’t great. Other brands we’ve had that my son has worn even more frequently have held up better. Based on that, I wouldn’t recommend these.

My 7 year old son loves these shoes even though he can’t tie. I did order a size up and they work great! They hold up very well. He loves the color, the multicolor laces and how comfy they are. If your kid has a wide foot this is the shoe.

Great shoe for my 8yr old. Sturdy and comfortable. We had problems with sizing... specifically moving from a 3 little kid to a 4 big kid... huge difference in sizing, way to big. Had to send back a few times. Zappos was great ith returns and she loves the shoes.

My 8-year-old loved these shoes and wore them hard. They have held up better than most of his other sneakers.

These look great on my son. Colors are bright and vibrant and true to why you see on screen (royal/orange). Had them for a little over a month and it’s holding up nicely to my active LO. Fits true to size and super cushiony, no complaints from son or mom!!

Our child really needs a specific type of shoe. We have tried so many and these he loved right away. We buy New Balance shoes for our older child also. Its a very good brand and we dont really get any problems with fit or quality. I am so happy he loves them! I think your child will too. I won't be straying anymore from this brand.

These have been great shoes for my son. He’s picky about how shoes feel on his feet and he has wide feet too. He still loves them and I’m about to get him another pair for school!

these shoes are true to size and provide our son with great support.

We bought these for our son who was having foot pain on the top of his foot. We were thinking other shoes were too tight. Bought these in wide. Haven't had any night crying for about two weeks now. So glad these are working. Bought in a 12.5 wide. Son likes blue color a lot.

They fit my wide feet perfect and I like the color.
