This dress is slim fitting and quite stylish for a casual t-dress. Unlike many others it does not look like a sleep shirt! It also does not look like a tent! 5’7/122lbs/34C: size XS is perfect. I had ordered several dresses in different colors. One XS dress ran slightly larger and longer than the others. Will be returned. Overall sizing is consistent, but might vary occasionally. Dress length measured from back top of neck: 35”. About 2” above the knee at my height of 5’7. I called the manufacturer to find out about shrinkage after washing. I’ve had bad experiences in the past with other casual cotton dresses that shrunk considerably in length after being washed just in cold water. As anticipated (though not mentioned by Zappos in the description), their cotton clothing is all pre-washed. This gives the dress a casual look and ensures that the length is maintained after washing. I tried it with one dress first, and indeed it did not shrink the least bit. They do not recommend using a dryer, however. The short sleeves measure about 5”. They consist of a ribbed cotton fabric which gives the dress a more interesting look. Measurements given by Zappos are inaccurate, unfortunately. Highly recommend, as such a dress (that can be dressed up with some fun jewelry or down and does not just look as if you are headed for your couch or bed :) isn’t easy to find. It goes well with fun sneakers, Birkenstocks, Teva sandals, flip flops (or perhaps wedge sandals to dress it up). I own several colors. Gray and nomad red are a nice shade of rust and an interesting shade of gray respectively. Black dress looks great. I can imagine it with a nice sweat shirt worn over it. Still waiting for the blue/indigo version. Overall I find this is a good price for this dress. Quality looks very promising, and I expect to have these dresses for a long time.

The dress was a little drab and formless. Probably be good paired with a belt and a jacket but I was hoping for a cute summer dress I could use with pair of sneakers and this wasn't it.

Fit me as expected. Just what i was looking for to travel. This dress, jean jacket and a cute sneaker or sandal and you are ready to go. It is slightly more than i would pay for a t-shirt dress but I think I will have for a long time.

This dress is very soft cotton and very comfortable. The fit is true to size. A medium is perfect and I'm 5'8" and 152 lb. Note that it is on the long side. Which is good for someone like me who is kind of tall. It's not fitted and doesn't show your waist - but if you want cute and comfortable it's perfect!

I love a good t-shirt dress, and this one doesn't disappoint. The fabric is light but substantial enough to not feel cheap, and it held up well after washing. It didn't lose it's shape at all like some of lesser quality. I'm only 5'2", so I do wish it was an inch or two shorter, but overall, it's great. It is a traditional t-dress though. If you're looking for something fitted, this isn't it.
