When I first opened the box, the shoes looked too small, so I checked inside the shoes and the label said 6.5, which is what I had ordered. This is a very becoming shoe. I purchased some adhesive/removable clear gel arch supports (Dr. Foot) from Amazon and they are perfect.... they give me support and are "invisible" unless you are staring at the shoe and looking for something in that area. I was nervous the straps would be too tight but ithey are perfectly comfortable on top of my foot, as well as behind the heel. I wear khaki pants most of the year, so needed something comfortable which would go with these pants. Threw on a baggy pair to take the photo, but you can see how nicely the shoes peek out from the pants.

I have not bought a shoe in a very long time that I didn't have to break in. Totally cute, very comfortable. I walked all over Manhattan feeling stylish--and my feet didn't hurt at the end of the day.

These shoes are so comfortable. I can wear them for over 12 hours at work, and they are still comfortable. The width is perfect and very cute to wear at work or with jeans. I already highly recommended them to my sisters.

I'd like the "Katrina" sandal, though without the extra strap in there on the side/sideish. That style goes perfect with shorts and nicer casual kind. . .
It's hard to explain, but everyone keeps putting an around the ankle something, or something that mimics that, and these canvas shoes/wedges don't need that; it would even be so well in a more flat with a fuller back of the shoe (very back of the shoe only, sort of like the back only of the "Kascade" wedge - and toe of the "Katrina" kept and in all different colors, bottoms same color would be nice)....

These were very comfortable right out of the box. Some reviews mentioned the straps were tight but I thought they were great and wore them for several hours day one without issue. A good choice with dresses and pants for a casual summer shoe.

An espadrille with a little heal is just what I was looking for. They were a little narrower in the toes so at the end of the day I was ready to take them off. My first love will always be the Pappagallo espadrilles of the 80's but this comes in a close second.
