Let's get this straight, this boot is a 10/10 style-wise. There are countless designers that make a good and cute combat boot, but at a higher price point so for that alone, this boot is worth it. I love the cute chain detailing around the boot, the suede leather feels very sturdy (and perfect for Houston rain), and the build of the boot from the laces, metal rings, and zipper all feel very luxe, too. My only gripe is that the footbed of these boots are quite... stiff since theyre leather but if we are comparing this boot to normal dressy leather boots, theyre about the same in comfort. These boots are not super cushy so I would not recommend 10 mile walks in them but I think they will be comfortable around the office & errands. They also probably would not fare well in the frigid weather to keep your feet warm so maybe double up socks but these are combat boots not uggs so I do not think there's really a mishap with that. Anyway, I super love these boots and I am glad I finally fixed my itch for the perfect rugged yet stylish combat boot. Here's to fall and its adventures in this boot!

These boots are very well made. The leather(s) both suede and smooth are rich black and match boot to boot. The details from the Coach icon on the side, to the chain link on the top sole seam, to the Coach logo stitched into the tongue are really beautiful. A little stiff first time wearing, but will break in nicely. They have some weight to them as the sole seems super sturdy. You can “un-hiker” them with plain black laces (which I wish they would have included) for more style options. They ran a half size too long even with thicker socks so I replaced my usual 8 for a 7.5. Love love these boots!
