I went through 5 pairs of shoes that my son refused to wear until I found these, they are awesome! He wanted light up shoes like his friends, but he has wide feet and is super picky about his shoes, if they are even remotely snug he won't wear them. Stride Rite is so great in this area, they offer true wide sizes and the shoes are very well made and durable. Occasionally the lights stop working, but we have found that if you hold the power button down it resets them and they will start working again. Try this before you return them if you're having a problem with the lights.

My son likes these shoes. The first time we put them on he felt like they were too tight, but after wearing them around today he says they feel great and they look cool, too.

These Blippi-inspired shoes were a huge hit with my son. Bonus light-up features, plus a power button to save the battery, and super comfy out of the box.

My toddler loves the shoes but they light stopped working after walking less than 50 minutes. We tried clicking the on-off button but one shoe just stopped going on completely. I called the customer reps they were super friendly and understanding.

Maybe my 5yo is rough on shoes, but I expected $60 shoes to last more than four months. The rubber in the sole is too soft. Wears far too quickly. Also, the light in one stopped working already.
