These sneakers have been worn only 2 months ... much to my grandson's dismay the light up feature no longer functions :-(

These are nice looking shoes and my son seems to like them, but the lights never work properly. The first pair we ordered came with one shoe’s lights not working. We exchanged, and still have issues with lights. One shoe will turn on with the on/off button but won’t work when walking or playing. The shoe we have is broken, but even it it wasn’t, who thought it was a good idea to put on/off buttons for the lights on a kids shoe? That just adds to the constant frustration with the lights. For $54, I would expect the shoes to work when new and to last longer than a few weeks.

My son is obsessed with these shoes! The shoes are well made and the lights are nice and bright. The button on the tongue allows you to change the light pattern or turn them off. If the lights aren’t working, try that button first.

My son loves these! You can turn the shoe light in and off, by the way. They’re really cute and have been holding up well to my son’s active lifestyle :)

Some of the comments say that the lights don’t work - but these shoes actually have a feature where you can shut off the lights. If you press and hold the lights it will shut off for a bit and then you do the same and they will light up again. My son loves them and they are the best quality. Stride Rite is the way to go for a busy walker!

These were cute. My son loves orange. I honestly didn't even realize they lit up until we received them. However, only one of the shoes unfortunately lit up, and the other one appeared to have a broken light. My son had already worn the shoes outside, and so I didn't attempt to return them. Overall, we are happy with this purchase. Stride Rite is always a great, trusted shoe company for little kids.

The shoes seem fine for the most part. However, the lights on the right shoe got really dim after a week or so.
