Haven't use these shoes yet but I know I will love them because I love the ultra fly running shoe and these feel a lot like them looking forward to some hiking without feet hurting

I love these hiking shoes. I have to go down one half size though as my true size felt too big, especially in the already roomy toe area.

VERY satisfied & happy! Love how my foot is securely fitted within, my weak ankles are comfortably supported, extra toe room is great & multiple tightening mechanisms for shoe strings is awesome! THANK YOU!

Great for speed hiking. More durable than other trail shoes that have torn on rocks and roots while running up mountains.

I wear a size 10 and have a wide foot. I put these on straight from the box and went for a 3 mile hike in the hills. Wow! So comfortable, lightweight, and roomy. I ran a little with them on the trails (downhill of course) and had no problems. It's been three hours and I'm still wearing them! The fit reminds me of Keen brands with a spacious toe box. I am more than pleased.

I have been a Topo fan for many years and the Trailventure did not disappoint. Great fit, wear a 7.5 as always, instantly comfortable and secure on the trail! Love them!

I have really enjoyed using my MTN Racers as my go to hiking shoe and was hoping Topo would come out with a boot! Ordered them online and went 8.5 even though I usually wear a 9 in Topos, and they fit very well. I would not want them any bigger. They were light and very comfortable on a 4 mile flat/sandy track yesterday in the rain, and very nice on a rocky/hilly hike similar distance today. Toes did not bump the front on downhills which I like.

I love Topo shoes overall and have many pairs. These are my first hiking boot. The locking lace system takes some getting used to. I had to readjust one boot several times to get it correct and to not cut off circulation to one of my toes. I have an average foot and found the wideth a bit much for steep downhills. Small blister on the sides of the big toe and little toe from too much movement. Still a good, solid boot that was comfortable doing 8 miles with a 30 pound pack.

Finally, a boot that checks ALL the boxes! I have high arches, so I put undue pressure on my heels and metatarsals, resulting in lots of pain after hiking. These boots give me the arch and ankle support I need without sacrificing space in the mid-foot thanks to placement of the lace lock. Toes have lots of wiggle room too. Awesome grip with the lugs and vibram rubber, as well as being very lightweight. Only complaint: doesn't take long for the coated upper to crack & toe to delaminate.

Did a 12 mile hike with these. Nice to have the vibram soles which did a great job gripping. My feet felt a little more stuffed in the toes than the wider road/running topos. And I was surprised how much fine dirt from the trail made it into my shoes and permeated my socks. Wasn't expecting that.

I have 3 pairs of the original Ultraventure, and they are hands-down the best running shoes I have had in 40 years. My first pair has been retired with well over 500 miles on them. The two additional pairs have 200 & 320 miles and still look and feel almost new. I purchased a pair of Ultraventure 2 and am a little disappointed. They have less than 100 miles and the inside of the heel is already starting to rub a hole. Two friends with the same shoe (and also fans of the prior model) are seeing the same thing. Also, the toe on the new model does not have as much protection for the toes as the original, which had little rubber/plastic strips that were just enough to offer a bit more protection when catching toes on rocks or roots. The cushioning is good.

Honestly, I don't wear shoes most of the year because I live in Florida so I spend most of my time in sandals. However, I have problem feet and need a good pair of athletic shoes when we go on vacation and such and would be in need of a good, supportive shoe. My favorite athletic brand up until now starts with a "H" but they've made some changes to their most cushioned styles that don't agree with my feet anymore. I read about TOPO Athletic on a blog for people with "problem" feet. Recently, I have also been diagnosed with arthritis in my big toe so it's important for me to wear shoes with plenty of wiggle-room for my toes. So far, I really like this pair of shoes but I probably haven't had a chance to wear them long enough at this point to make a really informed recommendation.

After multiple foot surgeries and gait problems these are the best athletic shoes I have found and can rarely wear any other shoes- which is why I would love it if they made some more neutral colors to go with more outfits- please make some skin tone varieties and muted earth tones so I can pair these with ALL my outfits and not just running/athletic wear

I love the wide toe box that allows my feet to expand during long trail runs. Overall they feel great. The one problem I'm having is that they seem to expand within a few miles of running - they had loosened so much, I had to tighten them twice during a 14 mile run.

One pair for my indoor workout shoes at the gym, the second pair for outdoor walking. The most comfortable athletic shoes I've owned. Roomy are upfront for toes and good support all over!

It hasn't snowed since I received them so I haven't taken them out in the weather to experience them. The fit seems on target, but the insoles are not nearly as comfortable as my Topo Fli-lyte 3 shoes. I think I might have to put a gel sole in them to cushion my feet. I have worn them for several hours in the house and they might get better the longer I wear them, but that remains to be seen. I am looking forward to the first big snow to try them out.

I am still trying these new shoes out. I love the great traction, ankle comfort, very lightweight, roomy toe box for my bunion and great color. The problem is my toes slide up and hit the top of the shoe when going downhill. It even happens on small hills that aren't steep and therefore not very comfortable. I even went down a half size based on the other reviews. May have to return them because of this which is unfortunate because I really like everything else about them.

I wanted to live these shoes, the seemed like the perfect pair for my wide front foot and narrow heel, and they were great for the first month or so of wear. But, now, I can't even wear them for half a day with out getting terrible pains in my knees and feet. Thinking this pain was from something else, I continued wearing these shoes until I noticed the front part of my foot slides around ALOT as I'm walking (heels stay put). Theres just too much side to side movement and a "tall" footbed, the ball of my foot and toes are just out there with no support. I even tried adjusting the laces, no help. I went back to my old shoes, and the pain is gone. I'm a steady size 6 lengthwise, a perfect thumbs width from the end, but these are just too wide in the front, so sad :(

I typically wear a 7.5 which is what I initially ordered in this shoe. It was definitely too small and exchanged for an 8 in red. The 8 still seemed a hair short but has not caused any problems over 400mi. I like the secure fit through the mid foot which gives me more confidence in technical terrain and on the down hill. I just ordered another pair in size 8, this time in green just so I could keep track of which shoes had more miles on them. Fit is completely different, the shoe is longer and wider, higher volume. Double checked the labeling in both shoes to be sure they are the same model and size. Cosmetics/materials are the same. What's up with that? Super frustrated. This would be my "go to" shoe and would probably recommend the shoe if I knew what size to get. Afraid to order another pair.

I wanted to love these, but ended up returning them. They fit my wide, high arch foot well. Unfortunately, they were a little too short to provide me with the ankle support I was looking for. There's very limited options for breathable summer weight hiking shoes with ankle support. I couldn't cinch the top tight enough or high enough around my ankle, so they didn't function much different than trail runners in that regard. I compared them to a summer weight Merrell and Altra high top and they were about 3/4" lower on my ankle. That made all the difference. I have loose ligaments in my ankles and can't wear low shoes backpacking or else I have major pain for days afterwards, but don't want to wear my heavier weight boots in summer, especially if I'll be in the water.
Also, the front material crinkled into my toes. I don't think it would be a big deal for a couple of miles, but could cause rubs if I was doing a longer hike. I could have sized down and maybe the crinkle wouldn't be there, but then I might have trouble with my toes on downhills.

The shoes are too narrow in the toe box. I wish you would be more consistent in the toe box shape and size amongst your shoes.
