A good pack for my third grader. I have never found the elastic straps to be useful for kids or otherwise. They will wear out before the rest of the pack more thank likely. Still, a suitable pack for our needs. It could be further improved with canvas water bottle holders as opposed to mesh ones, which are less sturdy. My child likes the snap at the front and finds it to be quite comfortable to carry. It protects her school laptop nicely and carries everything she needs. This product was purchased online in the "women's" at Northface.com, which seems sort of silly, given the unisex nature of backpacks.

I've been using northface backpacks for years and I love them! I tend to use them as just school backpacks so they last for years and it's amazing. I don't worry about buying a new one but because I love them I tend to buy a new one. I definitely recommend people buy a backpack from here.

great bag fits a lot

I bought this bag for my sister, she uses it for school. We really liked the color and the look of the bag. It is good that there are a few big parts that you can put stuff in. Some parts of the bag is also arranged for specific items like computers. The only thing we didn't like is the bag is smaller than what we expected it to be like. It seemed bigger in the website photos. Overall, we are happy with out first North Face purchase though.

It couldn't fit as many thing as I expected but still it fits quite a lot. The best part of the backpack is that no matter how full your bag is your back feels comfortable once you carry it! I'm super petite-4'9- and the backpack doesn't look bulky and it's the perfect size.

Love the rose gold detail, nice subtle touch to a black backpack. The padding on shoulder straps seams really thick and comfy. Christmas gift for my daughter, which is her top gift request this year.

Bought this for commuting with a laptop. The laptop sleeve is great and fits a 15-inch laptop perfectly. The best thing about this backpack is the side mesh pockets to store a water bottle and an umbrella.

Absolutely loved this backpack. Very spacious and comfortable to wear. Also it is very pretty looking.

I purchased the Women's Jester backpack for my 14 year old granddaughter for her birthday. She planned to use it for school but it's smaller than her previous backpack so I'm not sure if all her schoolbooks and materials will fit in it. She was excited to use it on a weekend overnight but has not yet transitioned out of her old backpack into this one....and I'm not sure if that's going to even be an option for her. The backpack itself is well made and looks sharp, but functions better as a weekend bag than as a school backpack. In the end I am sure it will get a lot of use and it should hold up well.

Perfect size and utility for school, work or a weekend trip!! Has all the space you need in a compact profile. Recommended!!

The North Face backpack is awesome, strong and have all the space organized which my daughter needs in college and last for many many years. She has been using North Face backpack since middle school!

Super thin and lightweight, has a really good laptop sleeve. I got the black and blue string combo and very true to color on the website.

I use this bag for school and it is very nice. The two compartments are useful for smaller items with keys and my wallet while the larger pocket allows for storage for my laptop, folders, wnd books.

This is my daughter 2nd jester. The last one lasted 2 years of rough and ragged school. Back pack has held up very well.
