I am a college student and use this around campus so I don't have to go back to my dorms for snacks, other notebooks, my laptop and charger etc, there's always plenty of room and is always comfortable

I work as a personal gardener for a landscape company. This backpack is perfect for carrying my lunch, wallet, keys and daily essentials and will fit nicely behind the driver's seat in the work truck. The material seems very durable and easy to clean. It couldn't be more perfect!

Great back support

I've owned two Recon backpacks and was looking for something slightly smaller. I love my Recon but I tend to lose small items in the depths of it. I wanted something not quite as deep and the Jester fits that need. The Recon is 30 L and the Jester is 28 L. That's not much of a room difference but the design makes the Jester better as a commuter/personal pack. I will continue to use my Recon for day hiking but plan to use the Jester for carrying my every day stuff. It's big enough for my 10" tablet/ 14" laptop and has a padded sleeve inside for that. It has the usual nifty features like a key ring hook, water bladder hook, external water bottle sleeves, and a bungee system on the rear for hanging my jacket. The harness/suspension system is top-notch and comfortable, as is true of all of my North Face packs.

This backpack is great! I bought it for my job, and have used it for everything in between. I use it for hiking, taking kids to the park, or just carrying my stuff when running errands with the kids.

I use the product for my books and laptop for school but I also plan on using it for hiking over the summer. It has amazing back support along with straps that connect across my chest which will come in handing for hiking. I will also be traveling soon and plan on using the backpack for my carry on because it is big enough to hold a lot of my stuff but also small enough to fit under the seat!!

I love this backpack so much! I got a new one after 4 years due to my zipper breaking, and this backpack has better water bottle pockets and is more comfy! I do think the front pocket got smaller by half so that stinks, but overall I love this backpack! The color is cute too!

Needed a high quality backpack to carry my books and laptop. This backpack is durable and attractive/modern. Much roomier then my prior backpacks. I will stick with NorthFace from here on out.

I have been using this backpack for school and it has been quite a change. The straps are super comfortable and I think it's the perfect size for books/notebooks. The material seems durable and I really like the color since it's dark enough where dirt will be less noticeable.

The last NorthFace backpack I had was from middle school (used it every single day). I didn't want a new one because I was nervous it wouldn't be as durable. I am now a junior in college and finally decided to get a new one! I love the style and comfort of my new backpack. It works well for all my textbooks and computer (even has its own pocket). I also use it for traveling because it provides so much more space than I expected it to have.

I no longer have an infant but do have a toddler and 2 older children so when traveling we need snacks and extra clothes and entertainment and this bag holds it all! It's stylish and super comfy too.

I use this bag for school and travel. It meets every need of both activities.

This is the best book bag! I used to have it in Black and blue and I've used it for 7 years until i thought it was time to buy another one. North face always does an amazing job & has great quality.

I use backpack everyday and I find that the structure allows me to stand up straight which makes my back feel a lot better! I love the style as well.

I've been needing a new backpack and this one is great! I'm a college student so my back can get sore from the heavy books and laptop that I carry daily. What I like the most is definitely the laptop sleeve on the inside as well as the many pockets and pouches for your pencils and supplies. Another great aspect is the 2 water bottle nets on the sides! So convenient! Now I definitely won't forget my water-bottle at home haha!

I love this backpack! I'm a graduate student and I use it for school. I used a Northface backpack all throughout my undergad and it is the ONLY brand that has lasted me more than 2 years. I'm on my 5th year of my first Northface backpack and only bought a new one because a can of pop exploded in my other one :( overall though these are great products! A little spendy but worth it because they don't have to be replaced near as often

Love this bag! I bought it for my sister & she's obsessed. She can easily use it for school & haul her soccer gear to games!

Very comfortable and perfect for a student who takes a backpack everywhere. Would definitely recommend to a friend and buy again.

I spent some time looking at the different TNF backpacks and ultimately picked the Jester. It is perfect for what I need it for which is traveling and day trips. It's roomy and sturdy. I like the organizational pockets in front and the fob for my keys. I really like that my 24 oz, tall, Hydroflask fits perfectly in the mesh water bottle holder and does not fall out. I also like the bungee cord on the outside so when hiking I can easily peel off a layer and took it in. I really did spend a lot of time going over all the features of these backpacks and I am very happy with my decision to buy the Jester. I'll be taking it to Finland in April and using it to hike around the forest. I know it will withstand the elements.
