This is my daughter's second The north face backpack. Last one used for about 5 years. My daughter likes this black color. It is enough big for computer and other stuffs.

I can't tell you how many times the front pocket just spills out all its contents making it so annoying to pick up.

Great bag, would buy it again

I really like the backpack, it is practical to travel or for hiking. It has many compartments where you can divide your clothes or equipment. A big plus is that comparing with other bags this is very light.

Bought for my son to carry every day in middle school. It's a step up from the character backpack he's used every day since kindergarten. He's happy with the style, the space, organization and the comfort. He thought the straps were very stiff at first, but he's used to them now, no problem. I wrote an earlier review, but it didn't get published for some reason. I had no complaints right after I got it and he tried it out. But after about only one week of use, the bungee cord broke and that part is useless now. He didn't actually use it to hold anything, so it's not a huge deal. But it is disappointing because the backpack seemed to be pretty good quality otherwise. The cord broke from the inside, behind the fabric, so it can't be repaired.

Got this for my son for college. Versatile, roomy and comfortable. He loves it. Lots of pockets.

Good quality. Seems like it will be comfortable and last. Only wish it was shipped in a box not a bag because the padded back part is a little bent. Hoping it will straighten out.

Excellent product, I love all North Face products but they are expensive

Travelling between classes and home and carrying all of my books and my computer. Daily use in various weather conditions in an urban environment. It holds everything I need and holds it comfortably for me.

This bag is fine for my purposes. However for the size of the bag, the laptop sleeve is very narrow and has no give or protection. I thought I had measured correctly and technically my laptop does fit but only if I really work to get it in there. The main section of this bag is huge, so it is unclear to me why the sleeve is so tight. Also, if you have too much in the front pocket it will topple over. I didn't have much more than pens and my phone and it tipped. TL;DR this bag is great if you are not obsessively picky like me.

Bought it for a carryon for travel. Does the job.

I currently use this product for school and it has been one of the best purchases I have made in a while. I used to carry smaller bags with little-to-no padding on the back and it had caused me to dread wearing backpacks in general. The jester completely solved this issue for me, and its lightweight design sometimes even has me forgetting that I'm wearing a backpack at all. Its roomy but lightweight, its a bigger bag but it is insanely comfortable, and its versatile but stylish at the same time. The only minimal problem that I see with this bag is that if you're not zipping up towards the right or left and leave the zippers in the middle, the zipper can become undone at times.

Great backpack, the versatility and compactness of it is one of the main reasons I'm rating it so high. The bungees can carry any sweaters or hoodies for me if it gets cold while I'm out. I thought that the side pockets wouldn't be able to hold any large water bottles, but surprisingly, it holds even my 40 oz Owala pretty well! Overall, great product and I would definitely buy again if I ever need to, I doubt even that because of its amazing quality.

Great pack. Second one we've bought for school. Sturdy and well organized. Fits folders as well as binders plus good sleeve for laptop/iPad. Also good for carry on travel and can fit a ton of clothes and gear for short trips. A real work
