I; going to echo the reviewer below who said she; 5' 4" and 122 lbs and the small barely fit her. Lanky 5' 6" 130 lbs here, measurements between the 'xsmall' and ;mall' category on the sizing chart, but could not get the waistband past my narrow hips. The legs seem to fit my thighs well, but I wasn;going to risk ripping anything by tugging on the waist. Will be returning. I have a feeling a medium might make it past my hips, but the thighs will be loose, which isn;the point of biker shorts. Confused by this one.

So my first pair of these were amazing! The customer service is awesome since my package was opened the first time around. When I received my first pair of spacedye, I gave it 5 stars. I loved it so much that I decided to order a second pair literally right after. I just received my second pair and washed it before trying it on. The second pair was terrible. The stitching on the top of the waist band had absolute no stretch for some reason as if it was the incorrect stitching so when I tried it on, all I heard was breaking threads. I'm so sad in the quality of my second pair but it's too late to return it since I washed it and threw away all of the packaging. My first one is amazing! Now I'm debating on whether I should continue to buy more in different colors because of the quality control.

I don't know what happened with these shorts. I probably have 10 leggings and bike shorts from this brand and I've never had a problem. The stitching at the top of the waist band has no stretch so when I put them on, all the threading broke. Otherwise they are perfect like all of my other shorts and pants.

I love these shorts and own them in 2 other colors but this Silver color has 2' longer inseam so they hit at a weird, unflattering place on your thigh. The description says 7' inseam but I've returned and received a replacement for a second time and they were both 9' long. Sadly returning them for good.

I'm 5,2' and the waist was way too high. I usually wear high waisted shorts, pants, leggings, but this just looked silly and was uncomfortable because of where the waist sits. Such a bummer because the material is so soft and the colors are perfect. Please make petite sizes!

I love the color and Spacedye material of these shorts but I found the pink shorts too sheer. I tried on 3 different pairs of underwear with the shorts and you could see all three of them, so I decided to return the shorts.

I bought the navy ones last year and have worn probably 15 times. Took them out today to wear this summer and the seam is coming apart. I launder per instructions always. The seams on Beyond clothes have never done this in the 10+ years I've been buying their clothes. Disappointed these didn't last longer b/c I usually have their leggings for 5plus years. :-(

I think these would work well for someone who is at least 5'4", but not someone shorter. Sadly, I'll have to send these back. I loved the fabric and color, though, so I; going to try to purchase the shorts in the style that has a shorter inseam and see if that; any better.

I love all things spacedye but these missed the mark for me. I'm not sure if they are different but my others have held up awesome. These however, have holes in them and haven't held up. Not a big deal for at home but I would like to wear them to yoga class.

These shorts are so beautiful and so soft! I bought 2 pairs and am so sad to say that both ripped right after putting them on. The shorts are not stretchy on the waist so they don't stretch when trying to pull them over your hips. I wish the waist was stretchy like the rest of the shorts. :(

Because the waist tapers in, if you have any sort of hips or butt, you will not tear the seem pulling them on which completely ruins the quality of the shorts. I will have to send these back and I guess it's back on the hunt for the perfect shorts I thought I had found! Very disappointing!

2 stars solely based on the fit for my body. I am a small in everything and sometimes and xs, but these made me feel like I needed a large. The seam at the waistband was SO tight I could barely get them over my bum and the thigh seam dug into my legs as well :( I have 3 of the slim racerback cropped tanks AND I LOVE THEM! I was so excited to have the whole matching outfit, but these just hit my body in all the wrong places. The fabric is also pretty thick and just not a slimming look. Remove waist band seam and make with a lighter fabric! Love this brand but these were a no for me.

I guess I have odd measurements because I ordered a size Xs based on my measurement. it's hard to find pants and shorts that are small enough in the waist 25.5" but large enough to accommodate 37" hips but beyond yoga size chart said a xs should fit. Well these suckers could not even be pulled up over my hips because there seems to be a seam at the very top of the waist and that prevents the shorts from stretching enough to clear the booty. This is super odd because none of my current yoga pants have a seam at the top. So if you have a small waist large booty, these may not work for you. The fabric is soft tho and the print is beautiful and quality

I have a pair of beyond yoga bike shorts in a size small, which fit great, but the sizing of these leggings and the new bike shorts that I purchased are completely wrong. I bought a size small and the wait is over an inch smaller than the other size small shorts. It's disappointing how inconsistent the sizes are.

I spent close to 500$ I have spent several thousands with your company - as a Pilates and yoga instructor -( and I have also asked how to receive that discount - where to send proof of- but no response )' I wear ONLY your clothing bc I love they feel , wear , and last from washing - I hang dry ' you sent me the wrong item - and you make it sooo difficult to correct - I teach many classes and do not have time to return - and send you this or that - you should make much easier for regular larg spending instructors - very bad customer service !!

If you get these thinking they will be the same as the full length leggings - they aren't! They are so much smaller and tighter around the waist and they go higher up. Definetely size up from your usual legging size.

I got these in two different colors and of course I tried on the othet color first and they fit perfect so I ripped the tags off And put them up. Days later I put this color on and couldnt get them over my Legs.. so these were defected. Unfortunately couldnt send them back no tags no bag. Aggravating because samw order bought these in the heather green color and they fit like butter. Perfect
