I bought 2 of these products and loved the look, feel and fit. Washed one the other day and my large is now a medium, or something there about. It lost about 2 inches everywhere - hem, cuffs, and should seem. It's incredibly disappointing as I expected much better quality. I'll dryclean the other one, but the website says this is machine washable. I washed in cold and dried at the second lowest setting my dryer can accommodate. One wash - ruined!

I am very upset getting this Odd strong chemical Smell one, I just got the delivery two days ago and this smell is so strong that my whole room smells like chemical washed, this one shows made in India, I don't why Johnstonmurphy product is like this. I bought oatmeal/Light grey one, My previous purchase was satisfactory, this time ...... I am really speechless!

Initially I liked the colour (Burgundy) and how it looked on me. When just purchased it had an odd strong chemical smell, but I expected it to go away after few washes (it diminished, but did not completely go away). However when washing it was bleeding colour endlessly like .. Niagara. Wash after wash (in cold water) it produced tons of dark purple water, enough to stain other dark clothes even after 4 long washing cycles. When worn for an hour in mild temperatures it felt stuffy. After two washes it started collecting bits of lint and lost its new look. My previous purchases from J&M were much more fortunate. I will try to return it (if it is possible to return a worn washed item back to J&M).
