perfect size, comfortable, 2 grab handles on top are great for holding rain jacket, love the "hidden" upright rear pocket....this pocket will be perfect for stashing airline boarding pass & ID. only gave 4 stars because would like to see the following features: (would love to have a water bottle sleeve on the opposite side with a "daisy/molle" attachment point above to clip the bottle in securely). we are proud owners of the similar material duffels and rolling duffels. would also be a plus to continue to waterproof coating inside this pack, just like the duffel. would love to see matching colors to the duffels. (lighter fabrics make it easy to locate stuff inside.) keep up the good work north face!

I use this product to carry my school supplies. Some of these supplies include a laptop, external hard drives, and dongles. I think this product is of amazing quality and the fact that it is waterproof makes me feel safe to through my hardware in it. The only bad thing is how small the inside actually is. Wish it had one more internal pocket for pens and pencils.

I recently purchased the black Explore Fuse box Day Pack - Large ( for myself) and my adult daughter decided she liked it, so I gave it to her. Then, I purchased the Small thinking it would work great for my laptop and a few other things. The small is way too small for my use. I could only fit the computer and a book. Quality is on point, just too small for me. I'll be returning the small and purchasing a large - again.

I like it but the waxed canvas fabric is very rigid and the creases don't come off. The straps also feel pretty cheap

Bought for commuting on a bike. Pack is small, and what can go in is pretty much determined by the base ~5"x9"... this means many of my lunch containers have to sit sideways... so must be 100% leak proof. Keep this in mind. Speaking of leak proof... also got this as thought it would be some what resistant to rain but the zipper provides no protection. Water gets in easily (and doesn't seem any treatment on the stitching so wicks in there as well)... and being all plastic sides, it doesn't dry out very fast, specifically the inner liner gets soaked (cannot just wipe out). If was just taking public transit would probably be fine but all weather on a bike, maybe not the right pack. It is a comfortable pack and has enough room for light commuting/day trip in the city but not a heavy lifter nor protected pack. It's a backpack purse.

I know that this is mostly my fault, but I didn't realize that the pack would have so little space, but my main complaint it that the fit is tiny. I wear a men's small/medium and the sternum strap barely closes, and the mainstraps are so far out. It really does look like I'm carrying a kids pack.

Wanted to really like and keep the backpack. It was just a little too small for my needs. Would definitely recommend getting the L size over the S size

Cant fit my lunch bag in it, need 2 water pockets to cater to right and left handers, need more pockets within the main compartment, and straps need to be more wider and softer

No where to put water bottles. Also needs more pockets within the main compartment to store tiny accessories (foldable hat, tiny notepad, etc.)

Changing to briefcase since designs for backpacks are looking bulky or space age. Not a fan of either.

I'm so disappointed that I received a small black fuse box with a BLACK logo when it is advertised as having a WHITE logo. Really want what was advertise so I may return.
