Bought for my lady friend with a big boots and they hold everything in.

I'm a medium across the board but these run big. Could have easily sized down to a small. Did not want shorts with a liner so these were perfect. If you want shorts with a liner, these aren't for you.

Teen approved. It is hard finding shorts for girls that don't raise on the sides so she really likes these. They could be like a half an inch longer in my opinion but the teen is okay with it.
