I have an hourglass figure with extra weight in my stomach that is hard to hide in dresses. I tried on many dresses before finding this extremely flattering one that highlighted my waist and hips while hiding my belly with the flattering rouching design and stretchy material. I also narrow, sloping shoulders that also looked great in this dress. It was true to size ( I am 5 ‘3 1/2, 145 pounds and ordered size 8) and extremely comfortable. I felt great in the dress and received many compliments. I did not even have to hold in my stomach as I usually do because the stomach coverage was so excellent. I would strongly recommend for a nicely curvy figure with extra stomach weight to hide!

I loved the purpley-blue color, the fit and the extremely comfortable fabric. Alas, returning for 2 reasons: hemline very long on me (4" below knees?) and the sequins seem about to fall off, with a splay of cheaply sewn black thread sticking out around each one. Beads, however, are lovely and seem secure, but even trying it on at home I was afraid one of the sequins was going to come loose and pop off. 5'7" 138 lb, size 10. Would buy a non-beaded dress from Tahari in this stretch velvet.
