I normally wear a size 8.5 in sandals and size 9 in a closed-toe shoe (due to a big old Big Toe). I ordered the 39 (supposedly 8.5-9) first but it was kind of short and the strap was too tight on one foot. So, I returned them and ordered the 40 (9.5-10). They were about the right length, but so loose and floppy on my foot, which gave zero support-I'm returning them. I have an old pair of closed-toe size 39 Pikolinos that are perfect. I don't know what happened to Pikolino's sizing but it doesn't work for me in this style. Maybe they need half sizes?

I'm usually a 40 or 41, these fit nicely in a 41. The support is nice too. I didn't love them in the black, the look didn't feel sporty but it didn't feel stylish either. Returning these in the black but have hopes for some of the other colors.

So bummed that these felt loose. I loved the soft leather and the footbed is so comfy. Unfortunately that leather will only stretch the longer I have the shoes, so if they feel wide now, they'll only be wider. Also I'm not a huge fan of the white soles.

Shoe fit more like a 5 than 4.5. Felt the strap was very loose and couldn’t tighten it without the strap overlapping in the back. Too bad it was too big, seems like a very comfortable sandal.

Tight over my arches!!

Very tight across the top of the foot. I must have a higher volume foot because this keeps happening. Nicely made but the combination of low flex wedge and tight top straps is miserable.

I usually wear a 10 or 10.5 but had to order up to the 42 11.5/12! Shoe still felt narrow to me but I do have wide feet. The strap was very short... Almost no velcro left to keep it on my foot, tho I also have wide ankles. If you have wide feet and big ankles maybe not the shoe for you. Re: arch support, it does have, but in my case since the shoe not wide enough, the leather strap where it connects mid foot was jabbing into my arch. Beautiful shoe tho, I was sad to return.

I loved the style of these sandals. I hate the basketweave foot bed - the texture is unnecessarily uncomfortable. And unfortunately the right sandal hit me right at my ankle bone. Too bad, because they are beautiful sandals, and the leather is soft. Sadly, they're going back.

These are definitely shorter than other Pikolinos I own. Very stylish looking just not a good fit as my toe was right at the front edge

I was surprised to see that these shoes were too small for me since I wear a size 10 and ordered 10 1/2-11 size. Love the look and the quality looks great. Just couldn't get me foot into them so that I could close the velcro on the back. Disappointed!

Darling shoes but I have to return them as they are a tad too short and loose on my foot. Order 1/2 size larger.

Too big, not much arch support

Runs very small. Super cheap looking. Body hugging, only for very thin people.

The size was considerably smaller than the same style and color of this shoe I tried on in a local store. I purchased from Zappos because the price was better. However, the shoe doesn't look quite the same or fit the same. Unfortunately I'm returning them and will go and purchase from where I tried them on.

These shoes are great but TOO BIG! I was so disappointed to have to return them.

The sandals are adorable and comfortable, however after 8 to 10 wears they are falling apart. The leather upper is detaching from the sole, they wear like a pair of sandals you would pay less than $35.00 dollars for. Paying a $160.00 is very disappointing. Out of fairness to Zappos I have not contacted them about a possible return/refund. Hopefully someone from Zappos will reach out after reading my review. I am an executive and only wear to work so no abuse on my part.
