This is a really nice casual shoe for someone who has what I call a "low volume" foot. If you are a person with normal width, but find that there is usually too much room in the tow box, then is a shoe you should try. It's got a nice fit that holds your foot nicely, very cushy inside, and I can wear without orthotics. Also with orthotics if I unzip a bit. I wear these shoes zipped and unzipped.

Even with the JS footbed + my medically required orthotics (which raise my foot in the shoe), my heel sits too deeply in this shoe. In fact, after wearing them today I have bleeding blisters just above my heels. Luckily I was able to fix that by inserting a ¼" thick heel pad under the JS footbed, so now can keep the shoes. I love them in all other ways, the wide toe box is perfect and the red color is cheerful. Love that they are casual but leather.

These are the most comfortable walking shoes ! Excellent for traveling or knocking around town ! Can’t wait to order in another color

These shoes are fabulous! Immensely comfortable from the minute I put them on. Lots of room in for my toes, does not slip on my heel. More comfortable and more supportive than my walking shoes. A winner, don’t miss these.

I love this shoes, but it was just a little too wide for my narrow heel. Otherwise, the size was good. Sorry that I have to return! So wanted them to work.

My third pair, absolutely wore out my first pair of black ones and replaced them asap. So comfortable for everything, walking around the block to walking around the house. Appears they are being discontinued, grab a pair while you can.

These are cute shoes. Look well made, but there is no arch support at all. They make my ankles turn in. I suppose I could replace the insole, but I think for the price, the insole should be better.

Comfortable and I am wearing the right size. However, even when unzipped, the heel is not "stiff" enough to stay up when sliding my foot in and out. So the shoes are now suffering from the dreaded "crushed heel syndrome". Would not buy again.

I've worn Josef Seibel shoes and boots for over 20 years. Sometimes I wear a 39 and sometimes a 40. But, although one of my feet is problematic and wide. Seibel's Medium always was wide enough for me. This Caren 22 was too narrow.

They had small scuff marks as though they had been worn.

Zippers only work when shoes are off. Heels are not strong/stiff enough to remain up so that you can slide foot in. Results in crushed heels. Worst shoe purchase I have made in years, especially considering price.

This is a very good quality shoe. I'm so excited to find a brand that meets my expectations, because I'm so tired of wasting time and money on "throwaway" quality. The sole is durable yet flexible, the stitching of the upper appears to be well done, the suede is excellent quality (not the spray-on suede I've seen with some brands!), and I definitely feel the arch support. My only complaint is that I usually fall between an 8.5M and a 9M, but the sizing of this brand is 8-8.5M or 9-9.5M. I chose the larger of the two options and Indefintly feel a

bought these for my Mom in her upper 80's and she loves them!

Love these shoes. Adorable style (breath of fresh air in red), very comfortable with a wide footbed. I wear ¾ medical orthotics - put them right in on top of the JS footbed, and the shoes still were wide enough in my normal size. These look sort of like sneakers, but better made in perforated leather, and cuter with their short zippers. Highly recommend.

I usually take 41 in Josef Seibel but found that I could never wear the shoes with socks. I ordered these in 42 and they fit perfectly with socks. Super -comfortable and nice-looking. Minus one star because the zipper is slightly hard to close. However, the zipper is a good idea. Other JS shoes I have in styles similar to this are harder to pull on and off than these because of no zipper.

I loved these at the sale price point! Great cushion. Narrow depth at ankle, ordered 1 larger size. Easy on/off shoe!

ZIPPER IS UNCOMFORTABLE. DIGS INTO MY FOOT

I wore them for 2 hours and developed a bleeding blister on heel. I am hoping they get broken in as I do like the looks of the shoe and have worn this brand in the past with success.
