I had to return these shoes, the width (N) was great but the heal strap cut into my ankle. Super comfortable shoes.

I didn’t like the fit for this shoe.

I have 5 other pairs of SAS sandals, and they all fit at size 8. This one was 8.5 and still didn't fit. Too short, my big toe rubbed on the edge. And, I hate the insert parts that are silver glitter. I couldn't tell they were glittery from the photos or I would not have ordered them.

Velcro at the heal did not tighten enough for me. I do have small slender feet. Hence the size #5. Also the shoe is very heavy even for it’s type. Would be great if you are looking for weights for an added workout. It did have a nifty cushion at the ball that carried across and provided much comfort. But the size and weight issues forced me to return.

SAS is one of my favorite brands in general, but these sandals were stiff and hard. Regrettable returning them

Disappointed as these SAS sandals looked like they could be good for lots of walking (and vacation once we can travel again). They are definitely NARROWER than my SAS Relax Sandals and have a more "oval" vs ROUND toe shape. I was hoping to find all the good features from "Relax" (arch support, multiple adjustments for straps) COMBINED with a firmer sole, such as in SAS "Tour" Mesh. UNFORTUANTELY, I am returning them: a little bit too narrow across the toes; don't seem to have the "good features" of a sneaker sole OR "Outdoor Sandal Sole". But....maybe I am spoiled from wearing Chaco's for years. Don't even feel as good as my older Ecco Yucatan Sandals! My feet: wide toes; very narrow heels; high arches, high instep and I need a firmer sole for when my Morton's Neuroma bothers me.

Oh my the first thing I noticed when I took these out of the box was that they were incredibly heavy. I thought at least they are well made as the sole is quite sturdy and all the straps are well padded. However the ankle strap is so padded and wide that it was not comfortable at all. I never even put the other shoe on. I shouldn’t have ignored the review that mentioned how clunky and heavy these shoes were.

This shoe was disappointing in both how it fit and looked. It was not the truly comfortable shoe that I keep hearing about. So for those reasons I am returning these shoes.

The foot bed feels soft but I got a narrow and couldn't get the straps tight enough for the shoe to not be floppy. Also they are a little short.

When I ordered these sandals, I wasn't crazy about their looks, although I get that they are much more about comfort and function rather than style). But the real deal-breaker for me (even though it's too late to return them, unfortunately), and the reason I'm not going to keep wearing them next sandal season, is that the materials that comprise the soles are way too heavy (as other reviewers have noted) to be helpful in what should be a sandal made for sport and exercise. While the rest of the sandals were pretty comfortable, the weight of the soles just makes walking for any distance too fatiguing. So I'll reluctantly be sport-sandal shopping once again in early 2023, and will probably donate the SAS Embark to a secondhand store. So sad because I have quite a few other pairs of SAS shoes and really like them! :(

I have a really difficult foot to satisfy. I've got several issues in it that require a lot of different solutions. This shoe was too hard in the base and rubbed on the side of my foot. It caused my feet to ache when I walked on my treadmill for only 5 minutes. The rubbing on my foot started to build a blister after 15 minutes. I was very disappointed. The good thing about these sandals is that when they say the toe strap is adjustable, it truly is. Most shoes lie.

Looked cheap and felt cheap.

They were never hot girl sandals but they were okay comfortable. There was always a problem with the back strap that rubbed wrong unless I fixed it just so. But I’m using the past tense because the Velcro failed and now they’re useless, after one year. I cannnnt believe this since they were crazy expensive.

I really wanted to keep these, but the soles are too hard on my back. The foot bed is comfortable and the velcro straps are a good idea but need to be longer. I wear a size AA, but my heels/ankles are narrower than that. I don't know how long the straps would have lasted because I had to pull them very tight.

The material the straps was made of was too stiff. It hurt me feet.

If I’m being honest-the back strap hits on my ankle bone making them uncomfortable. For the price I paid I would have thought they would be the most comfortable pair of shoes I have, not so much.

I really wanted to love these, but after wearing them around my house for a few hours, they began to hurt my little toe, both on the top side and in making it feel like the sandal was pushing it under. I am sad to be returning another pair of sandals. I used to love the Keen sandals I had for years, but alas, none of the ones available now are comfortable enough. This was my first pair of SAS, and the footbed was sooo comfortable at first, I thought it was going to be great, but it wasn’t to be!
