The shoe fits comfortable on the first try even with my thick socks. I have a wide foot but the medium width fits my feet perfectly and has a good cushion footbed. You shouldn’t have to break in a shoe it should fit comfortable at first try. I highly recommend this safety shoe and I’ll be ordering it again in the future.

As a Timberland PRO wear-tester, I can honestly say these Reaxion work shoes do all the things a safety boot can do, but without the clunkiness or heaviness of a boot. After a day of wearing the shoe, I really started to bond with the fit and feel. Wearing the Reaxion felt no different than wearing an athletic sneaker, except knowing the fact that the added safety composite toe was built into the design.
I'd highly recommend this shoe to anyone who is on the move, needs the reliability of a safety shoe and appreciates an agile, athletic-inspired design with a low profile. Side note: I forgot my pair of gym sneakers for an exercise class and was able to slip these on instead. They are really that versatile.

The fit is snug as if it's true to my size, but it seems like there's an extra half inch past my toes (and it's kinda' awesome to have a bit of freedom and no compression on my toes). My only complaint is the frame around the ankle, I had to set two large cups inside the opening of the shoe to stretch it open a full 2" because it dug into the sides of my ankle. It needs a wider opening to the shoe. I am giving 5 stars across the board because they are very nice shoes, but please everyone keep in mind you may have to get a boot stretcher or opening stretcher because of how narrow the shoe opening is. Save your ankles!

I normally wear a 8-8 1/2...so I wanted to make sure they fit nicely so I ordered the 8 1/2 and I am so glad that I did. They fit so good! They are really nice shoes..I am VERY happy with these work shoes. I am definitely going to go through the original website and see what else Zappos has to offer. I would recommend the work shoes site to any and everyone. They have nice selections, but they go fast and run out of sizes real quick..lol Better hurry up! Haha
