The size and fit was on spot. The material felt ok. In terms of how awesome I feel wearing them, it looks like the top of the number 8 when looking down at them. I get it, it's a safety work shoes. However, I was hoping it had a little bit more style to the finish. In terms of comfort, I had to order an insole because the standard insole doesnt offer that comfort I need. My work is mostly standing for a long time, while lifting, bending, pulling comes with it. So, the new insoles provided the comfort I needed for those 7 1/2hrs I had on the shoes for the first time. I am going to acquire new brand of insoles, and see if there is any further difference in comfort. Overall for me I usually get insoles when I get work shoes, that has been my experience.
I'd also recommend:
Any brand I guess, but I would recommend adding insole support

They do not look like the picture at all. Really wide in the toe section and narrow by ankle. Looks A lot like clown shoes. They are really comfortable

I wore the shoes for 3 days and I couldn't take it anymore, the shoe feels very hard and it hurt my feet. Something happened with that model, I used that model last year and I achieved a lot with Ford at that time, but now it has been different.

Some days these boots are okay, other days they leave my feet and legs painful and fatigued. Waterproofing is good. After pressure washing on 40 degree day they left my feet warm and dry. I thought I’d try the sneaker style boots a go but my expectations were not met compared to boots I’ve worn in the past such as the Timberland moc toes and the Pit boss. I work on my feet all day in facility maintenance.

These are the most comfortable work boot I have tried so far. Most boots leave my feet aching by the end of the work day, but not with these. The only downside is they are starting to come apart at the seams. I've had these boots for 6 months.

More break in time than I expected. I'm a welder fabricator working 12 hr. shifts. After a week or so these boots are now quite comfortable. I wasn't expecting them to be so lightweight big plus! I would give four stars but it's too early to tell how these boots will hold up over time.

Good looking boot. Sole seems to be thin and stretches tight under ball of foot. Makes me question it longevity. The other issue is the roll of the boot when walking the way the sole is set up it slaps the ball of your feet and makes a slam sound on hard surfaces. The boot is great for standing has a good cushion. Time will tell how long these last.

I purchased these for work and they lasted about a month before the seams between the leather came loose and the two layers of the sole separated and water gets inside. Otherwise a decent boot.

TLDR: I wouldn't buy them and I'm tempted to avoid this site in general. They look alright but that's where the good news ended for me. One minor issue is they felt a bit loose, despite supposedly being the same size as the timberlands I used to (and unfortunately still do) wear. The real problem seems to be quality control. The left shoe seems to fit almost fine, but something in the right shoe causes it to dig and grind into my heel. Even with the relatively thick socks I wear, it managed to draw blood after not even a full day of work. Worst part is, they cannot be exchanged(not for me at least), and since the return policy demands near perfect shoes, I might've just been scammed.

As a mechanic I go through boots about once a year. I've worn timberland pros exclusively for the past 18 years. These do not compare to a regular boot. Yes, they are light and breathable but they don't hold up. The sole is not soft and they feel very hard. The boots began breaking down after the first month. I'm on my 3rd month and both soles are peeling up, and the stitching is coming undone. This is unacceptable for a boot in that price range. I was really hoping these were going to be a solid boot.

The shoes look great would love to wear these every day. Unfortunately, there is a sharp stitching in the inner heel on these shoes which very quickly cut my heels and gave my blisters. #SWEEPSTAKES

I know these look cool, but these were the worst of the Amazon/Zappos work shoes that I've tried over the years. They are much heavier than the other work shoes out there and even though they look like they're high tech and supportive, they felt like I was standing on a rock all day. I tried inserts and everything. There are other timbs I've heard good things about but I would avoid these at all cost.

Fit and size were good, but the color of the shoe / design could be a bit less sneakeresque.

I bought these shoes for a new job where I was told I needed a pair of safety toe shoes the following day, there was limited selection at the local store and I figured the timberland was a reputable brand, so I went with them. I wear these 5 days week and around 6 months of use I noticed that the soles started to peel up on the sides and the stitching along the side of the shoes has come undone. I am now able to stick a finger in the hole from the ripped stitching. I replaced the inside insert for better comfort, and was happy until the shoes started to fall apart.

Fit was good right out of the box. I do carpentry and construction and I ended up wearing them through the summer and had some issues with lack of ventilation. They held up fairly well for about 6 months but then the stitching busted on the side where the toe box bends. If they had triple stitched the seam I’d probably be buying another pair in the future. The sole seemed to hold up better than most Keens but hard to say for sure over just 6 or 7 months.
