Material is nice and light, waist runs pretty small compared to other brands like Ariat.

Ordered one size over my normal waist size and they are 2 sizes too small

The size for the waist was way too small, about 2". I wear a 34 waist and it was every bit of 32 maybe 31 on both pairs. The materiel was fine, seemed durable yet flexable. Return was easy but still waiting for my funds to return to order a different pair its been about a month.....

Size was WAY off. Too Small. Most 34' waste pants actually measure around 37" from the buttonhole to the button. These 34" pants measured exactly 34" button hole to the button. These are the loose fit, so the waste band is tight and the seat is baggy. I am sure Zappos gets many returns on these.

There is no way the pants I got are sized correctly.

The sizing for the waist of these paints was wrong, I wear a 32 x 34 pant size and the product received was a size 30 x 34 even though it was labeled as 32 x 34

very tight runs about 2 inches small in the waist.

36x32 was crazy tight, felt like 32x36. I am glad returns are so easy!

Knowing that Carhartt runs a little on the small side I should have gotten a bigger size. Ordered my regular size (42x32) - Everything fit wonderful except the waist which would not even button. Legs and length were great. Will be ordering a size larger and will be excited to get them.

Sizing not even close. Need at least 2 waist sizes larger than normal.

Waist size was good but pants legs were way too baggy. Felt like I would trip walking in these.

Fit a little snug around the waist with no room for give.

Too small

The other reviews come close but don't fully give the idea of just how big the legs in these pants are. The waist was comfortably sized, but, as a person who has had to buy a bigger waist in my life so the legs would fit, I would still have felt ridiculous wearing these. I'm not even a style guy. They're just work pants after all, but you could jump out of an airplane without a parachute wearing these things. I had to return them and hopefully I have helped the next guy understand what he's actually getting into if he orders them.

So I had no idea how wide these pants would be. I'm used to wearing slim fir jeans, but I get that most FR rated clothing isn't necessarily fashionable, but not always sensible either. I'm tall and slim; at 6'3" - all legs. I ordered size 31x34, which I was happy they had available. When they came I tried them on immediately. Before putting them on I noticed the width right away. One pant leg by itself was bigger than the waist and once I put them on that was confirmed. You remember in the 90s the skaters of your high school would wear those ultra baggy pants? That's what I looked like. Or a clown. The waist fit great, but I could get 2 of my legs into one of the pant legs. So I returned them. Other than being designed for lumberjack types, the material was good quality and I'm sure they would have been comfortable, had there not been such a draft going up my legs.

At the waist it was perfect, however, the length of it as not how its described. It is super long but it will do for now since the boots are wide enough to prevent it from dragging on the floor.

Shrunk a lot after first wash, even on first wear when I'd grab anything out of front pockets the zipper would fly down.

They did not fit well at all. Sizes are not what they are supposed to be. I'm not sure what you are measuring with but you need to check it ! This has happen with Zappos alot, waist is to small, length is way off, waist is to big . This is getting to the point that I would rather just go get my clothes some where else, probably at a better deal.

Not for me. Fit was snug in some places and loose in others. Overall felt baggy

may be they put wrong size of label on pant- to much tight , i selected the size as per regular i am using with other brands
