Needs an elastic waist to be a proper relaxed fit. Too expensive to order from Canada

My husband loves these pants. They wear so well and his pants really get used. A few years ago, I bought a pair by mistake and kept it and now when it finally gave up and blew out the knee we ordered two more.

I've bought several different designs from you all,but these are the best!! Make more Colors please!

Great pair of pants. Excellent quality as usual for carhartt.

I ordered these pants after receiving and wearing the exact same pair in the tan color. Although I ordered the exact same size as my first pair (which fit perfectly), these pants were too small - too tight in waist and too short in inseam. Using a tape measure, I can tell you they are markedly smaller than the label indicates. For what it's worth, the label in the original tan pants indicates they were made in Mexico and this too-small pair were made in Indonesia. Regardless, someone at Carhartt quality control is asleep at the wheel. Two of the exact same (except for color) pairs of pants, ordered in the same size, would have some consistency in sizing.

I like the new khaki pants and began to rotate them with an older darker pair for the summer months; I am a stream ecologist for the Adopt A Stream Foundation and do stream and wetland surveys. The new pants are veery comfortable, however, after one wash, I found that there was a "rip" in the ripstop fabric as shown in the attached photo. My initial reaction was 5-stars, however, three stars were dropped off with the fabric deterioration. If more fabric tears occur in the next wash, my rating will drop to no-stars. Recommendations? Since it is such a hassle to return these pants, my short term action will likely be a patch with Millers fabric gluevery, very disappointing. My older darker pair with different fabric has gone through many washes with no fabric failure - I give them 5-stars.

Good but too much polyester which is not good in the summer. There is a seam right across the top of the thigh which is uncomfortable. Lots o pockets though, so that's good.

One pair of pants I bought .. the sizing was accurate and everything else was good (brown pair) Another pair (blue pair ) the sizing was way off .. to long and waist sizing was off .. alittle disappointed

So disappointed that Carhartt went to a lighter fabric for these work pants. The thinner material is not NEARLY as durable as the heavier weight they used to use.

wore these type pants for 5 years... great "pocket" design, great fit... but they dont last. seams at cargo pockets fray, knees wear out prematurely... then since "carhartt" is now a fashion statement, the premium paid to wear the product is OUTRAGEOUSLY EXPENSIVE. other NAME Brands that produce a more durable product, comparible fit/feel, reasonable price. and yes, i now buy brand W... just wanted to 'grinche" on your site...

I would love to give a 4 or 5 star rating because Carhartt4Life but these pants are defective. They tear on the seam of the butt. I work in the overseas outside in 115-120 degree weather and the ripstop material is great but the stitching on the back side isn't very strong. Not sure why this hasn't been addressed. I have to reorder every 3 months.

Lightweight yet durable. Bought for my son who works for a tree service company and so far he loves them, much cooler and more comfortable than jeans.

After only being worn twice the ripped at the left rear pocket

I returned them. Awkward fit and the seam along the knee was really uncomfortable

They are OK, not my favorite Carhartt pants, due to the seam that runs across my knee caps. I find this seam irritating, but they are a quality pant. I should have paid closer attention while looking at the online picture.

I'm a a slim, female environmental scientist in Houston and had been struggling to find pants that fit me. I couldn't find anything in stores for women and men's sizes weren't small enough for my waist, though these pants are just about perfect. I ordered a 30x32 and the length is great! The waist is still a little bit big for me, though 30 is the smallest they come. 100% recommend these for field work as they're breathable, loose, durable, lightweight, & great for Texas summertime heat!
