This shoe was very difficult for me to get my foot into. Very very stiff.

I finally broke down and bought an expensive pair of golf shoes. I have been a Johnston and Murphy customer for a long time. This is the primary brand of shoe I purchase for work and casual wear. When I received the new golf shoes, one of the shoes had a significant defect. The lacing on the tongue was coming apart. By the time I went through the replacement process, and received the new pair, I missed wearing them on the planned golf trip which is really why I bought them in the first place. I believe this defect should have been caught during the QC process. Just giving some feedback with the intent for future QC improvement.

Great look but I immediately had heel blisters on my first few rounds. The inner insole rides up too high and causes blisters. I will never buy J&M golf shoes again.

Disappointing that J&M does not offer a 7 or 7.5. I know that this is not a review of a purchase, but of a manufacturer that does not even offer me a chance to buy any of their shoes. I hoped to join my J&M clothing with the shoes, but they don't make a smaller size.

Loved the look of these shoes when I ordered them. During my first round of golf in Florida after 6 holes I developed painful blisters on my heals. By the way I was riding in a golf cart, therefore not walking a lot. I suffered through the 18 holes in pain. I wore the shoes a week later while still wearing my blister pads on my feet. This was the only way I could wear these shoes. A month after returning from Florida I wore the shoes again without heel bandages and I didn't make the first nine without bloody blisters. I am very disappointed in these shoes. The design is flawed due to the elastic inner boot which allows the heels to move up and down as you walk no matter how tight you tie the laces. I will NEVER BE ABLE TO WEAR THESE SHOES!! BAD DESIGN!!

So disappointed to spend this much on golf shoes only to have LOW priority shipping take an entire week to deliver......I still do not have them after 5 working days.......shipping status showed them being processed in Texas for the entire week. Here is an idea, when you charge this much, use 2 day delivery !!!! I will update once I receive the shoes.
Disappointed I,

Shoes are much too tight and seem improperly sized. I am going to request a return. Very disappointed and have worn J&M dress shoes for many happy years.

Very difficult to put on shoes due to the lining (not sure of purpose for lining around ankle). After 5 holes of golf I had to remove shoes and finish front 9 in socks/barefoot. Both left and right heals very sore with one bleeding (and I wore socks in the shoes). Returning for refund.

These shoes have to be seconds or mismatched. After nine holes I had to take them off because of the blisters on my ankles.

I experienced extremely deep cuts from the waterproof liner which wraps around the ankle. Stop wearing them and eventually disposed of them after wearing them 4 times.

After a dozen rounds the sole separated from the shoe. Since J&M has 90 day warranty not covered. Would not recommend

What were you thinking! The U-Throat made it IMPOSSIBLE to get my foot into the shoe. Always have loved the comfort of Johnson & Murphy shoes but this is the worst idea you have had. I can't answer most of the questions because I couldn't get my foot into it. I always buy a size 10W and they always fit great.
