These are cute boots. They're not big and clunky, but they're more substantial than shoes. They have an almond-shaped toe rather than a big round toe, which is why I took a star off comfort. I just got them, so I can't say how they'd do as the primary footwear for a sightseeing vacation. I wouldn't take a chance on that right now. But, I think they'll be fine for wearing closer to home this winter.

Well.... Zappos decided to send me these boots with scuffs all over the sides and a sole that looked used. They also sent them in a generic box which led me to believe that they were a display or something. Anyway. Was going to return but I needed a pair for thanksgiving and they wouldn’t be able to send me another pair in time so I kept them. Didn’t even offer to reduce the price ugh. Long story short - boots, okay .... nothing special about them. Zappos customer service ?? (Thumbs down!!!!)

Love the fit. Works well to go up half a size for The thick socks I wore. Walked for over half a day in them in -4C temp and was ok!! Got a lot of compliments too!!

I normally wear a 7.5 in Cole Haan shoes (flats and heels). Since I'll be wearing socks with these, I was a little concerned about the size, but they fit perfectly! There is not as much coushin as I was expecting, but it's better than most boots in similar styles. I'll try a thin gel insole which should do the trick. I also love having a textured sole during the winter months. They were a little squeaky out of the box, but that disappeared as I broke them in. Really great bootie overall.

The fit and size was perfect. Unfortunately, I had to send these back because they were a little to mannish for what I was looking for. If I was looking for a boot to use in a colder, wet climate, these would have been perfect.

The boots are really comfortable and nice-looking. If you wear thin socks, then you might find them a little too roomy in the toe. But with heavier socks, the sizing is accurate.

Super comfortable and beautiful boots. I can work all day with them and my feet don’t hurt

To be completely honest, I did not like how these looked - very “inexpensive” looking. I gave 4 stars for comfort BUT they never even touched my feet. I wanted to be fair in my rating; they appear to be comfortable however. For the same price, I went with Bed Stu boot.

I usually order 8.5 for heels and flats and 9 for sneakers and boots, so I ordered 9 it is a bit big, I should have ordered 8.5. Not as matte as people mention in the comments, it is leather treated for water. If the matte look is an issue I'm pretty sure you can shoeshine them with a leather product. Great as waterproof boot and as other comments mention, no break needed!

So comfortable! No breaking in needed.

These are really pretty, casual boots. I was looking for something a little dressier so ended up returning but I wanted to keep them!

I always purchase a half size up in Cole Haan. These are beautiful boots, but when they arrived, they were all beat up and scuffed. The leather is very soft and supple. Knowing what they look like now, I am afraid to actually wear them if this is what they look like once they are broken in. I am also not sure if this type of leather can be "buffed" out. I love Cole Haan, but I am not paying the price for these boots for them to look terrible with nothing I can do about it.

Comfortable but not the style I was looking for.

Comfortable footbed but the top of the boot digs into my ankles. If you’re tying to wear these without socks taller than the boot shaft look elsewhere. The top is rather oblong shaped and totally dug into my ankles despite my efforts to stretch and reshape them. Unfortunately I only realized this after walking around in them for a day.

Nice looking boots. I don't have wide feet, but these were tight at the bend. However, the heal area seemed too large. Sole was rather stiff.

Absolutely beautiful but my usual size 8 was just too tight. I didn't want to fiddle with the back and forth of exchanging so I opted for Born which always fit and are always comfortable. I was disappointed to have to return these though.
