These ankle boots are gorgeous! I love the color. They’re a dark brown with a hint of mahogany. They look great dressed up or down. I read the reviews, and many commented on how narrow they are. As I was rating, I did mark them narrow. I feel like they’re only a touch narrower than a regular fit. Not a dealbreaker for me. I invested in a shoe stretcher last year, and it’s been useful on more than one occasion! You can find them pretty cheap on Amazon. I have one designed for shoes, and another for boots. Make sure you know the difference! I think I may even get a third design specifically for high heels. It’s a great way to break in your shoes having to do it yourself and getting blisters. All in all, I love these ankle boots. They will get a lot of wear this fall!

Love the style, but they are VERY SMALL! Not sure if I should go up a half or whole size. The leather is good quality, I would easily pay more for these boots. Gave 1 star for comfort because they are sized terribly.

I usually wear an 8, but in Cole Haan I wear an 8.5. I ordered my usual size for Cole Haan and they fit. Concerning width, I ordered a wide width because I wanted a boot that I can wear with heavier socks for winter walking. These were perfect. Looking forward to wearing them with my suits as I walk around the city.

My usual size is 6 in boots (5.5 in flats). Due to the narrow toe box, wearing thick socks for winter made my normal size 6 very tight and squished, and a little uncomfortable if walking for a long period of time. I have wide feet. When I ordered up to 6.5, the boot felt great and I would be able to walk in them for a full day. There was a lot more room at the top for my toes to move around while walking, without feeling too big or too loose. No regrets picking the 0.5 size larger for comfort! I would order both sizes and compare the difference. I already received compliments wearing them!

gorgeous boots and I am a Cole Haan fanatic, but these were really small and tight in the toe. Would recommend going up a size.

These boots are beautiful! Width feels a little narrow for me, but otherwise they are true to size. I am hopeful they will stretch a little! They are comfortable and have some padding.

Gorgeous , got the black suede, elongated my petite legs beautifully. The only thing thing that would make them more perfect is if they were waterproof.

I know these are a pointed toe but usually Cole Haan still fits my 8.5 foot. I would order up a size if I were to order again. I am just going to have them stretched.

Loved these shoes but they felt so small even with a thin sock.

I am a true 7M. That size works 100% of the time, until these. I read the reviews that they were narrow, so I ordered them in both 7 and 7.5. Neither size worked for me. My foot is medium, and I've never had to return shoes due to width. I think they are beautiful, and I was very excited about them as a dress bootie. So sad to return them but they are just cut too narrow for an average foot.

I dont know why Cole Haan is doing shoes half size smaller, this is the second pair of booties that my size runs smaller.

I have narrow feet and it is very hard to find booties in a narrow width. I ordered 2 Elyse Booties in Size 7 because sometimes the fit is different due to stretching and wear and tear from other try-ons. I am keeping the 2nd pair. These booties are narrower than normal which is good for me but they are still a little wide so I make up for it by inserting insoles and a heel liner. It is working or me! Heel height is perfect but would have liked it better if the toe was less pointy.

These shoes were very stiff, but I have had them nearly a year now and they are still stiff and uncomfortable in the toe. The arch support isn't quite where it needs to be. I love to look of these shoes though and that is the only reason I wear them. They look nice and are pretty durable judging by the unrelenting stiffness in the toe.

Beautiful shoe, but really hard to put on. The side bends and makes it hard to put feet in.

For winter, I typically order a size up for at least a thin sock. This boot on a bare foot was snug enough that it would have required stretching and as lovely as the styling is, I didn't want to chance a poor fit. I'm normally an 8.5 to 9 and the 9 was snug. Other Cole Haan's I've ordered for the season have run even smaller than this particular pair. I'm bummed as the styling is exactly what I've been seeking.

Very cute boots, but I could barely even get my foot into them. Would need to try a half size up but unfortunately they aren't available in a 5.5

Too tight

These boots squeaked when I walked. There's very little arch support.
