Really liked these but one big flaw. The plastic cage ends in a seam that rubs the inside of my arch. Also for a wider toe box it still slopes the big toe towards center instead of letting it splay. Looked cool tho.

I really wanted to like these shoes. They have a wide base for weightlifting and feel quite good at first. Unfortunately, after longer wear inside, they pinch the tops of my feet near the ankle. Even loosening them multiple times and tying the laces super loose, I still experienced pinching. Also could see glue immediately around the toe cap and even on the sole of the shoe in the recesses toward the front. Build quality needs a little work, as does fit. Could be good for smaller feet.

Wide toe box made the shoe feel a half- size larger than my usual size. Sole was more firm than cushioned, which I think you’d want for weight training- but couldn’t imagine running in these.

I didn't like these because they were too narrow. They were advertised as being for wide feet even in medium width and the sizing guide indicated that they would fit the same as my Merrell's but they didn't.

Length and width of this shoe felt right on. I could always use a little more length in 13s (compared to the metal shoe thing in stores, shoes seem to made a little short), but compared to all other shoes, these were adequate. But, what I didn't like is the transfer from the heel to the toe. The transfer is very abrupt. Would love a more gentle transition. Perhaps that's a lower drop or different materials, but it didn't really feel like I could walk naturally. Also, the sock and "exoskeleton" style of construction didn't work for me. The plastic "exoskeleton" cage that the laces attach to, for me, didn't come back far enough to lock in the heel of the shoe. I needed one more "rib" coming up from the heel to get better heel lock (I think, not a shoe designer, but, that's my guess". So, for me, cool looking shoe, lots of potential, like the width and length (compared to say Nike) but the shoe was too hard and too abrupt in heel to forefoot transfer.

I liked this shoe when I received it a week ago. However the side panel that the laces are connected to started to tear away from the body of the shoe after just 2 workouts in them. Due to the durability factor if the shoe, I can't recommend them.

Not a bad shoe but not an inov-8 type fit. Had to return it.

The back of the shoe is soft - comfy, but lacks stiffness. My foot slips out when pushing repeatedly on the balls of my feet, like with a prowler sled or a treadmill designed to mimic a prowler found in some commercial gyms. A smaller size would be uncomfortable. I've gone through four pairs of Inov-8's over the past 6 years, most recently F-lite 235v3 and F-lite 250. I've been extremely satisified with prior pairs and I'm surprised this issue was overlooked in design of this shoe.
