I'm a pretty solid 6.5. Docs don't have half sizes so I got both a 6 and 7 to see the fit. 6 was quite snug at first and rubbed on the heels but loosened quite quickly with daily short periods of wear. The 7s felt more comfortable right off the bat as there was no rubbing, but I could feel my foot slipping around and would only get bigger with wear. Decided to stretch out the smaller size and I think it'll fit perfect in the end. As long as you have room to wiggle your toes/adequate length, the width will stretch. I'm usually a size 11 but I got a 10 bc my other dr martens are 10.. I should have gotten an 11 bc that tip is a bit too narrow! my poor toes were getting uncomfortable. The fit was overall ok tho, the straps were a bit stiff on my foot but expected before truly breaking them in. Maybe it was due to the sizing, idk, but if you're worried about toe space, stay true to your size.

I orders this style thinking it was a “slimmer, less chunky” than the Mary Jane Docs and the sole looked blacker than the traditional gum sole. I’m going to use the shoe for my business, kinda casual pants. Even though it said “Work”, I didn’t realize that meant steel-toe. LOL. Returning because I can’t do steel-toe all day. My fault.

I wish I could wear Dr. Martens. Every 5 years or so, I'm tempted by a style, but the fit is always wrong for me. The length and width of this shoe fit my long, narrowish foot well. But they hugged my narrow heel painfully. Also, the interior felt like it would rub my skin raw. (I can't wear socks.) In terms of aesthetics, they made my feet look about twice as big. This works on some folk, but looks clown-like on me. I'm so bummed.

Love the look of this shoe. I think it will go well with a skirt or pants. Unfortunately, I ordered my normal size (7), and it was too large. My heel kept popping out, and it was also too wide. I did not exchange for a smaller size as I felt I needed a 1/2 size smaller, and Dr. Martens doesn't offer 1/2 sizes.

Good quality, I usually wear woman’s size 7 in others brands and size 6 fits well. Looks good and great quality but my feet hurt around the front after trying out inside for a bit. I have to return for that reason.

Tight in the toe box and rubbed my heels. I wanted to love these shoes, but they just weren't quite right.

Way too big. Definitely not true to size, rather an entire size larger.

The shoes are way too big. I'm usually a size 6.5 but after reading comments that they ran big I ordered a size 6. They are still too big Im hoping to return and get a 5.5.

These ran at least half a size larger for me!
