I am really disappointed in how these shoes have held up so far during the school year. The sole has already started flaking off around the toe and sides and the leather is heavily creased/flaking, despite polishing. The toe is close to separating from the sole. My son isn't particularly hard on shoes and his last pair of Florsheims were tanks that lasted all school year. These seem like they'll barely make it halfway. Really disappointing quality and durability for the price. I wouldn't purchase again and I don't recommend.

I was SO excited to get these shoes, they look nice for my son's school uniform, yet have the flexibility and comfort of a sneaker. BUT...
The outside of the front is entirely scuffed up after ONE day of use. This leather quality must be pretty horrible. Not only that, it feels tight on my son, despite having toe room, so it must be more narrow than usual. And to top it off, he complains about the ankle rubbing and hurting. For this price I expect MUCH better quality than this. Entirely disappointed seeing as Zappos usually offers much better quality than this.
