I loved the style. In general, I love Taos. I have a few boots and shoes. These were a little pinchy just behind the toes, hence I sent them back. Great arch support, and fit otherwise, I was sad they didn't work.

I wanted to love these shoes and liked everything about them except the back of the shoe. It was too low and made the shoes uncomfortable to walk in, constantly rubbing my heel. Size was good and the foot bed was supportive and comfortable. Unfortunately, I had to send them back.

I liked the shoe and hoped it was a go. But when on my foot they were just tight enough that the placement of the seams at the widest part of the foot caused pain. Without that seam placement I might have made them work assuming they would mold to my feet.

Super cute, but just fit weird. The shoe feels narrower than my other Taos - particularly in midfoot near the zipper. I found the zipper to be more decorative than functional. The zipper didn't open far enough to slip my foot into the shoe. Also, the heel cup isn't deep, so the heel slipped when walking. The insole seems to take up a large amount of the room inside the shoe. making the fit feel off. The shoes did feel stiff, as others have mentioned. I would guess that the stiffness would break in, but the fit is not comfortable for me so I'm returning them.

Love the look and support in this shoe but I have narrow heels and the medium width just doesn't work for me.

I loved these shoes, but they slid up and down on my heel.

I bought the same pair a couple years ago and they fit perfectly. I don’t have narrow feet, but they’re not wide either. This pair seemed narrower out of the box and so I compared them to my old pair and they are slightly narrower. The difference doesn’t seem drastic, but I can definitely feel it. I’m disappointed because the old ones fit perfectly. The shoe is beautiful, but I’m not sure if I’m going to keep them.

I could have lived with the width and length, but after wearing them in the house on hardwood for about 30 minutes, the bottom of my feet started to ache.

The toe box is too short and narrow. I will size up from an 8 to a 9. The zipper is not functional when the shoes are on the foot - I was hoping that I could slip into these without retying each time - but that is not happening. Very stylish shoe with moderate support. I am hoping my inserts will work.

The toe was a bit more snug than the other shoes I purchased, which makes sense tbh, since canvas won't stretch like leather. It also makes my feet look longer than the other shoes I got. But overall it is cute. It just wasn't for me.

Ran too large

If you love a firm footbed, you will LOVE this shoe! I prefer a little cushier footbed so sadly they had to go back. They reminded me of the "soft" Birkenstock footbed a little. Nice arch support and the side zipper was really convenient.

Attractive and nicely made sneaker, but I needed a 10 1/2 in a wide width, and that's not an option. Even the box they came in was beautiful. I tried sizing up and the shoe was definitely too long, and I didn't think it had enough width for me to size down.

Great shoes, but run big. I ordered a 7W and the width was perfect but they were at least a half size too big. Sadly, Zappos didn't have a 6.5W in ANY color so I could not exchange. :-(

I was excited to get these sneakers, stylish with good arch support. They felt good going on and for the first few steps. Then my socks disappeared into the heel. I tried thin socks and thicker socks and they all walked down in the heel. I have to return the shoe. In my opinion, Taos needs to use different fabric in the heel. The fabric is textured and grabs onto the socks. A smooth coating wouldn’t do that. Since others have noted the heel problem, maybe a redesign is in order. So sorry. I really liked the look!

Very cute shoe, Taos has nice support. The problem is the zippers do not stay zipped. I have to re-zip several times per day.

These are really cute. They look great with jeans and several other color of paints. I ordered an 8w. They fit more like a 7.5 medium. I had to reorder an 8.5w. They seem to be very well made.

I loved the shoes but they slipped on my heels each time I took a step. Disappointed that they didn't work.

Wore for 2 days in a row without any issues. Very comfortable!

The shoe looks great in person and very well made. I felt it was too small for me, but on retrospect, I realized I should have undone all the laces, then zipped up shoe, and only then should I have tried to retie laces. It was late at night, and I just put them on and tried to zip them up. Uncomfortable on the top of my foot. Oh well. Don't want anyone else to make this (dumb) mistake. They look great otherwise!!

Loved the sneakers. Zipper was cool, but I had trouble zipping up. Style was great, but just not right for me now.

When I tried these on after lacing the laces, I could not fully close the zipper. I could close the zipper, and then use a shoe horn to get into them, but the point was to use the zipper to get in and out, and that just wasn't happening when I had them tied to fit. Plus, I was barefoot, and would prefer to use a thin no-show sock with them. That would make them just a bit too tight. But I can tell the arch support would be good, and they are super cute - love the gray color, too. Sure wanted them to work, but no bueno.
