Not to sound dramatic but these shoes have literally saved me. I struggled with plantar fasciitis so badly that the podiatrist had me wear a walking boot! Once I healed I could only wear shoes with solid arch support and Taos have been so so so comfortable for me. I wear these barefoot and DONT need to slip addition arch supports in like I do with other shoes. I can walk in these for long distances and I like that they’re stylish and don’t look orthopedic. Highly recommend if you need shoes with solid arch support

I ordered these a full size larger than my usual because that's what Zappos had in inventory. They are fine. Mayyyybe a little roomy in the toe area, but who complains about having extra room for the piggies in shoes that are supposed to be comfy-casual? Not this guy. The on-and-off zip works well, and the arch support is quite firm. (Love or hate Chacos footbeds, these will feel similar.)

These are a great pair of shoes. The color is cute, and though a pink tone, still pretty neutral. I really like the zipper option, and there's no beating Taos arch support.

Have been searching for a while now for a pair of casual tennis shoes of this style. Tried Converse, Seavees and Nothing New and found all of them to be uncomfortable, mostly due to lack of arch support but also because of discomfort due to their overall construction (heavy, stiff, abrasive interiors, etc.). Tried these on a whim because I liked the idea of the zipper closure on the side. I really like the shoes overall. They fit well and I love that they have a contoured footbed with arch support. The toe box is roomy enough without looking too wide. There are no inner seams digging into my foot at any point. Very comfortable, and not too heavy as some of these thicker soled tennis shoes tend to be. Have not worn them enough yet to tell if the zipper will really prove to be handy, but I like the way it looks anyhow. A little pricey, but what isn't these days? These are my first pair of Taos shoes, but based on this experience, I would feel confident buying the brand again.

I have narrow feet and the medium width was perfect for me, however, other people might need to go with a wide width. These are the most well-constructed shoes I've ever worn. Your feet feel completely supported and "hugged".

Love Taos for fit and style. Toured 2 weeks in Europe in May and these shoes were perfect. Great arch support and the side zipper was really convenient going through airports. Bonus: the flowered pattern garnered lots of compliments. Thank you Taos for making such great, fun to wear shoes!

I needed to find a pair of super supportive but CUTE shoes to wear as I transition out of an orthotic boot after breaking my foot. I wear mostly dresses so they had to be stylish, match everything and provide all-over support and specifically metatarsal support. These shoes are it! They do run about 1/2 size small so had to return my first pair. The second pair arrived at lightning speed. I will not be taking these off for a long time to come. I will say the zipper is super stiff but by the end of the day the shoes had stretched just the right amount and the zipper was easier to use. Would recommend 100%!

These shoes were as SUPER cute in person as in the picture. I really, really, really wanted them to work, but sadly, my feet are a bit too wide for them and it was hard to zipper them up. I know they'd probably stretch over time, but it would have been slightly painful to wait for that. So, I had to return. But someone with smaller, thinner feet, these are perfect!

I've gone through dozens of brands trying to find something that looks great and is also comfortable. These are definitely my favorite sneakers! This particular style with the zipper is just a teensy bit wider than the other Taos sneakers which is perfect for my problem feet. I ordered my regular size and took out the insole (which is very cushiony on its own) and used my own orthotics. bought two pairs in gray and dark blue, and liked them so much that I ordered a 3rd pair in light blue. Unfortunately the stitching on the light blue is a darker color and the stitching wasn't straight so it ruined the look/quality of the sneaker. It might not have been so noticeable if it had been in white. I hope Taos will continue the line into the fall with more colors. : )

I usually buy size 8 but because these came in wide width (yippee) I purchased size 7.5. Shoes so cute bought 3 pair!

Good for narrow feet

These sneakers are cute and felt great right out of the box. The arch support insoles feel like a little massage for your tired feet. You can use the laces once to adjust the fit, double knot them, and then just use the zippers to take the shoes on an off -- very convenient for the endless dog walks! I'll be wearing these with pants, jeans, even casual skirts and dresses.

My feet are hard to fit, and these feel true to size; think carefully before ordering up, as some have recommended. If Zappos rec's your regular size, pay attention.

Super cute shoes, I love a sneaker with a zipper so you don’t have to mess with laces. Very comfortable. They are a bit snug but size is not really off. I purchased the 7 and they are wearable and I feel like they will be perfect after a break n period. If I would have ordered a 7.5 I feel like the heal would have been slipping. I am happy with my purchase.

Much more cushioning on the bottoms than the Moc style. I'll be keeping these and taking them on a walking trip. Arch support is good. Before trying these I couldn't figure out why anyone would put a zipper on sneakers. Now I know--I have arthritis in my hands and feet, which sometimes makes adjusting laces uncomfortable. With the zip you can set the laces to your perfect spot, and the wider opening afforded by the zipper makes the easy to put on and take off. Nifty!

I really like the way this shoe looked and it was comfortable to stand in. But due to my bunions, there is a seam that hits the bunion. So once I take a step, I get excruciating pain! :( Had to return. But if you don't have bunions, this shoe had great support and felt true to size. Print is cute!

These are too cute for words! Fit great and look great. Comfortable safe walking sneakers, high arch and flat bottom for good balance.

Quite comfortable & stylish. I’m on my feet all day & I love a good tennis shoe without the feel of wearing a running shoe such as Brooks. These fit the bill nicely. The only issue I have is the zipper. They zip off great, but zipping back up without tying is a different story. Wide width gave me no pinched pinky toes. I get a ton of compliments on these.

These are a great alternative to Converse because they have a bit more support. I may end up putting in my custom orthotics, but at the moment it seems like they might be okay as-is as long as I'm not spending the day on my feet! I'm usually a 7.5 or 8, and the 8 fits perfectly. Given that, I'd say they run true-to-size, but maybe a smidge on the small size.
