As an official new member to the fussy feet club, I have been searching for comfortable, stylish sandals that make my feet happy. These sandals checked all the boxes...adjustable across to top of my fore foot to not aggravate my bunion, enough support to not aggravate the joint in my big toe, and provide arch support for all day walking. I also would categorize my feet as slightly wide to wide and these were comfortable on day one.

I LOVE these sandals!!!! I wanted a slip-on that was stylish and offered enough support that they felt like "real" shoes and would not go flying off my foot as I walked. They fit my size 7 Medium foot perfectly. The size 38 says it fits 7-7.5, and my foot covers the whole footbed. So if you are a 7.5, you might want to size up. These sandals were comfortable the moment I put them on. I only needed a slight tweak of the velcro straps to reach perfection. They do not rub or pinch in any way, shape, or form. I bought the Hazlenut and Black as soon as I saw them. Glad I bought them early because my size/colors sold out quickly. Taos needs to make more!

Love these sandals! Love them so much that I bought a second pair, same color! The fit is perfect and really nice you can adjust both straps for comfort for the perfect fit!

This is my 7th pair of Taos Footwear sandals. Sadly, I am returning them because they are too small. I have always worn Size 38, but these are too short in footbed.

Love the fit of these sandals! They fit true to size and have an excellent arch support! Loved them so much, ordered a second pair!

Taos is my go to shoe brand. I have 4 pairs of size 8/39. This one had to be exchanged for a larger size. They were just a little too short. I measured them against my size 39 "Rita's", which looks like it has the exact same foot bed, and the "My Dear" was almost 1/4 inch shorter. Strange.

Super stylish but wish it were a bit more flexible for comfort.

I love these sandals. Good arch support and looks dressy enough could be worn to work. Taos always delivers quality a bit more expensive but well worth it.

This is my 2nd pair of these - have them in the tan and wanted to get the black ones as they are really hard to find to buy. Comfortable right out of the box. Taos are the best shoes for my feet - I have a major ankle reconstruction a few years ago and these make me feel safe.

I was really looking forward to receiving these because I've recently bought the Taos Universe and love the fit, comfort and support of that sandal. My Dear might work better for others than they do for me. My foot doesn't stay very well in this sandal and with just two straps, there was a lot of pressure on my forefoot and bunions, which was not a problem in the Universe sandal. Sadly, I will have to return this pair. The footbed and leather quality are very good, and the cork sole is great. The fit was just not right for me.

First off, the description is wrong. Both straps are adjustable via hook and loop - not that I mind, because I actually prefer that to buckles. As for fit, while this was comfy, it just felt a hair too short for my liking, with my toes and heels all the way to edges. I do like a bit of room because as the leather stretches out with wear, we can end up with that horrible toes-over-the-edge look. The leather is soft, so I'm sure stretching would have occurred. If you're a size 7, not a 7.5 like me, these would be a much better fit.

This sandal runs considerably smaller in the size 39 than other Taos sandals that I own.
