This is a beautiful sandal. Though I have a narrow foot, I took a chance on ordering this M width style because both straps are adjustable. The foot bed is wide for my foot, but the straps are so well designed that I am able to adjust/tighten the feel of the width and am able to walk in them quite comfortably. The foot bed is well padded, provides very good arch support, and generally feels very comfortable even after extended wear. The leather is lovely and the craftsmanship is excellent. I highly recommend these comfortable, adjustable, beautiful sandals.

I wanted to love this sandal. The style is really cute, not the norm for a 3 strap sandal, and really cute, for a cushiony sole without it being a "cloddy" style. The straps are adjustable, it was helpful to tighten down around two spots, but one strap dug in to the top of my foot (I will admit, I have VERY sensitive feet, with some meropathy), but still...it was uncomfortable, and if I loosened it, then my heel "slipped" sideways, which was also not comfortable nor sturdy. Thank goodness Zappos has such a great return policy. I am usually a 7.5 and I got an 8 and my heel was "right at the edge". Felt like I could have gone to an 8.5 which I NEVER have to do. Kind of odd in the sizing or perhaps an error?

The good: These are reasonably attractive shoes, with velcro adjustments on both straps. The footbed is very squishy, which is quite comfortable.
Worth noting: the bigger strap is noticeably further towards the toe than other sandals. It doesn't make it feel like it is about to fall off, but it doesn't feel as secure. Also, I got blisters right away, because the straps rubbed where other sandals never touch, and the strap is not particularly soft.
The not so good: they make a funny sound (fart-like) every time I step for at least the first few minutes after I put them on.

Would not stay on my feet. Very little adjustment possible, and results in leather pressing into toes. Otherwise, sturdy, with very good cushioning and arch support.

I ordered 1 size up and my toes STILL ended up at the front of the sandals WITH a large amount of space BEHIND my heel. I think ?? these might be European Sizes WITH the US equivalent (the other 2 Taos shoes I have are BOTH EU sizes). The next "Full Size" up obviously was too big, so I am keeping the Size 8. JI just wanted to Make Sure BEFORE I wore them Outside the house. I did try the Size 8 on kitchen & hard wood floors several times for about 10 minutes. They NO longer feel stiff. Another Review talks about how the Cork Sole DOES mold to your foot over time. I have Wide Toes, a High arch, High Instep and a Narrow Heel. These adjustable straps work well for me.

I have almost the same Taos sandal that i purchased around 5 years ago. I loved this sandal and was hoping that this new one which looked just like my old pair would be the same. It wasn't and i am disappointed but thanks to the generous return policy, i will return them and try another style.

Quality leather and craftsmanship consistent with the Taos brand. I wear a 7.5 M and ordered the 8. Unlike the 7.5 reviewer who found the 8 too small, I found it too large. The toes were fine, but there was too much space at the heel. The 7 would have had my toes hanging off if my arch was placed correctly. The adjustable straps will help this sandal fit a variety of widths. I have a medium width, low volume foot (thin from sole to top), and I typically need adjustable straps to secure shoes on my foot. I was able to adjust these to fit. These offered good support and cushion, but something about the footbed was "off" for my foot. I felt like my heel wanted to hang off of the side. Additionally, the style was much more "matronly" (and I'm a grandma) than it looked in the photo. It was not flattering on my foot at all. I thought these would be a win, but sadly, the search continues.

Love Taos sandals! The leather straps are a bit stiff, but I'm sure they will soften with age. Footbed feels great on my sore feet!

I usually wear a 7 1/2 or 8 but in this brand, I have to order a 7. So go down at least a half of size. Love the look, and fit of these sandals.

I love Taos sandals -- when they fit my foot. That being said, I know Taos doesn't come in narrow sizes which is what I need. When there is a velcro strap that I can tighten, there is a possibility that the shoe will look good on my foot -- unfortunately, not this shoe.

Beautiful shoe - I wish they came in size 12. I wear 11 or 12 depending upon the shoe.

Upping my review of this shoe. This is the second pair of these I have bought. The first pair I liked but was a bit hesitant and thought about giving them to my sister. SO SO SO glad I kept them as I wore them almost everyday this past summer. I live in a subtropical climate and so these get year round wear. They are adjustable for width and I have a narrow foot. Also just beware they have gone from European sizing to American and can be a bit tricky to get the right size. The bed of the shoe feels as fitting as a Birkenstock but with far more fashion. I really should get in every color available. Had the grey ones for the summer and now the black ones as the temperatures cool down. HIGHLY recommend these.

Felt slightly small in length, but ok. There is a issue with the strap across the top that is not right.

Still deciding. I want to call Taos and ask IF the cork insole molds to your foot. The soles felt STIFF at first and as if I wanted MORE cushioning and cushioning under the ball of my foot. I love my 2 other pairs of Taos: "Luckie" and "Trio" (a discontinued pair USING the same Sole & wedge as "Trulie").
I discovered that some wedge style Taos come in a WIDE width! These Premier have a NICE round Toe. I don't mind that they are flat. Just need to find out IF the cork in the sole will mold to my foot. Might try a Dansko sandal/mary jane. My feet have Wide toes, High arched & Narrow Heels. P.S. I think other Reviews talked about the strap over toes being Too Far Forward. I am debating about going 1 size larger. But: Right Now - that toe strap is in a Good Spot for me!

The size and fit are OK for a person whose size is 10 M. I actually have a narrower foot, which greatly limits available designs. So I'm always looking for shoes with adjustable hook-and-loop straps that I can pull tighter. Still, with the straps pulled a tight as possible, these shoes are a bit loose on me and they can fall off if I'm not careful. The design is attractive but not really special.

Excellent shoe - if you need arch support then these are for you! As a matter of fact, the arch is too high for my foot but I love these shoes so much I am going to send them to my sister who suffers with plantar fasciitis. I needed to try a couple of sizes as they are now offered in U.S. sizes and not European. I found the size conversion was a challenge for me, finding the U.S. sizing larger than expected. Also if you have narrow feet this is an excellent brand of sandal as they all have velcro to adjust. I have worn this brand for many years for my narrow feet. And no problem if they get wet so great around beach and pool. Highly recommend! They last forever!

I wanted these to work so bad. They are really cute shoes but I couldn’t get my foot in them. I have fairly slender feet but they are swelling here lately. My feet were a little swollen when I tried them on so it was just a no go.

I wanted to like these, but the adjustable strap digs into my toes in an incredibly painful way. I've never had a shoe do that before, and I own several pairs of Taos sandals.

Very weird fit. I read this in another review and didn't think much of it, but it turned out to be true for me also. The straps are too far forward for my feet. Like the looks of the sandal except when they're on my feet, and I know some blisters would be happening in the first wear. B'bye, I'll look for another style.

SInce there is no specific information in the sandal description online that would clarify the type of footbed, I ordered these by mistake. I wanted another pair of sandals that had the support and comfort of the Taos “Perfect” sandal with a different look. This sandal was too large and provided no arch support.
