These were very comfortable. I decided to keep the Born Trang instead because I thought it would work better with my outfits, but I would have kept these just for fun if we were traveling more. Michigan spring and fall seasons can be so short. Thought the Trang would work better spring through fall. I love that both had a rubberized outsole with a fair amount of texture. Won't be afraid to wear them when the ground is damp.. I typically wear an 8.5, and the 9 fits great (I also wear a 9/size 40 in Naot, for reference).

Really like them & can’t wait for warmer weather to wear them! I have a high instep, & was worried they would be too tight across the top. They are a tad snug right now, but the leather is soft enough to stretch a little.

The shoe is beautiful! Soft, buttery upper (I ordered the bronze), comfortable foot bed, beautiful gold gleam in the leather. I'm a 9 1/2 but sometimes I can go up or down depending on the shoe. The 10 was the right length, but it didn't hug my foot (I have a very low profile foot) and it felt sloppy. I ordered the 9 but that was just too short. Such a shame! I think it's a great shoe for most people, just didn't fit my foot right.

I wear a 6.5 and read reviews that these run small, so I ordered a 7. I am returning and purchasing a size 6. Because the shoe is open at the toe and the suede my stretch a bit over time, I don't want my foot to start to slip forward too much. But I have to say, I am sad to have to wait even another day for these in my size because they are SO SOFT and cute. Can't wait to get them in the right size!

These are bunion-friendly and almost worked, but the 10 is a little too short and the 11 is a little too big. Wish more brands had half sizes!! The shoes do show more toe than I normally like, but I'm hard to fit and I would have kept them despite the toe issue, if they had fit. Had to return both sizes, but thank you Zappo's for the great return policy!

I am an 81/2. I got the size 9. They are a little bit too long but they are really comfy and I like the style. My husband even complimented them. I also tried the size 8 and they were way too tight. So definitely size up if you are a half size

The look: earthy and elegant. I’m a size 8 and these fit well. The feel: I agree with the other reviewer that said your foot kind of slides forward and feels like your toe will go over the edge, but they ultimately stay put. There’s no denying the buttery softness, I would love to see these in a natural taupe, or brown leather color..I think I’m ordering the orange next!

The only issue is that your toes come right to the edge when you walk. I personally don't like that in sandals. So on one respect they are true to size, but I think they should be a little longer. That said I didn't return them and think I will wear them a lot. Also, the color isn't as red as the pictures. It's orange. At best you can say tomato red, but that is a bit of an exaggeration. I don't really like orange, but they are still cute. Almost perfect.

I wish these came in half sizes. Typically, a 6 in dress shoes, 6.5 in sneakers, I got these in both 6 and 7. My toes come up right to the seam in 6 so if walking around a lot, my toes might actually touch ground. 7s are not only too long, but gaping in the rest of the shoe. It’s unfortunate. They are well made—nice soft leather and comfortable sole.

Loved the shoe. The problem is that the zipper that goes up the back of the shoe was broken. I think the type of zipper that is used for this shoe is too rough.. it is not fluid in the movement from up to down.

I LOVE THESE!! So much so that after owning a pair in black I wanted this a tan/camel color. The fit and comfort do not disappoint. BUT...the craftsmanship fails. My black pair didn't have this issue. These started to separate within a few days. They weren't made well. I do love them so much but I don't wear them anymore b/c the stitching/glueing coming apart is notable. I love these and hope they'll exchange them since it was a quality issue.

I bought these sandals in all black 5 years ago, so I am pretty qualified to comment on their quality and longevity. These are my favorite and most worn spring/summer and sometimes fall shoes. They are stylish, comfortable and easy to quickly put on and take off. It wasn't until the 5 year mark that part of a strap started to come undone from the sole. I simply purchased some shoe goo adhesive and applied it myself, clipped with a binder clip and viola - 24 hours later, it was fixed and ready for another 5 years of daily wear and tear. I frequently get compliments too. Highly recommend!

I already had these in black leather so I knew to order a size 6. My feet are on the narrow side and in sandals I usually buy a 6.5 because they are narrower than a size 7 which is my true size. Because these are unlined leather they will stretch a bit. I love that the taupe color suede is soft and neutral and they are very comfortable.

I love this sandal and have purchased it 4 times! It's my go to summer shoe. Last summer, I was flying first class to Florida, and the woman across the aisle stopped me and said that she had this shoe and had purchased it a few times also. It's a winner!!

Oh so comfortable right out of the box! No break in time. Go wherever without fear of any rib or blisters.

I LOVE LOVE These Borns!! I have 4 pair now! I have bunions and they hold my bones in place and cover that icky part of my foot! I'd like more leather color options so I could wear them to work. The suede gets dirty.

I get so many nice comments about these. They were comfortable right out of the box and look so nice. I have both the suede and the smooth leather and they both feel great- no rubbing or soreness anywhere they touch.

*zipper has a soft piece of leather over it on the inside* this prevents the zipper from rubbing your heel. Amazing and clever addition. As always, I was thrilled with the quality of Born. I usually wear an 8 1/2. In Born I always buy the 9. They fit perfectly. Leather is buttery soft. Zero break-in period for this leather. No pinches. No blisters. I have three pair of Born boots and two pair of their sandals now. Comfortable is an understatement. You won’t be disappointed!

These shoes are a joy to wear. They offer a surprising amount of support considering how soft they are. I have the usual age related foot problems and these shoes accommodate them all.

I Jane never bought a shoe or Sandal online that fit as perfect as this BORN!!! Definitely buying more!

LOVE these sooo much!! Great quality, comfortable, and beautiful! I’m usually a size 6.5, this style fit best in a size 6. Other styles in this brand vary so it’s hard for half sizes to find the right size, but when you do it’s glorious!

Love the style, color, + quality materials. I'm sure the leather will stretch so that the zipper doesn't press so much into the back of my foot as it is now before being broken in. As usual Zappos is a star in the quick shipping and easy return department (for the pair that I didn't keep). Thank you!

They were a little tight at first, but softened up and molded to my feet rather quickly. They do “fit like a glove “. Super comfortable, and very walkable. I had read other reviews saying this, but it is so true.

Wonderfully soft/supple leather! Have this style in 2 other colors...LOVE them...but a 4th pair in brown was returned because the leather was stiff/harsh against skin and the right shoe 'squeaked'.
