I am a true 7 1/2 and I sized down, ordering the 7. Thank goodness I did, the 8 would have been much too big! The 7 fits perfectly, even with a thicker sock. These are very cozy and comfortable shoes!

I was delighted to find these after wandering around the Zappos site for quite a while. I wanted slip-on waterproof shoes. These shoes are heavy, but offer comfort on slippery, icy, and uneven surfaces. I vary between 7.5 and 8, and ordered the 8 which will easily accommodate my Goldtoe gym socks. They feel like Uggs due to the soft fuzzy "fur" lining. The length was perfect, but I have a narrow heel. The red "tighten-toggle" worked well, however I have to tighten and re-tighten to get them on/off, which sort of defeats the slip on/off concept. Thicker socks will probably help. My tall Hunter boots have been extremely useful when there's a lot of snow. I live in the upper mid-west where inclement weather is part of our lives. FINALLY!!! I have been looking for a winter shoe with these features for...literally over a year. I wanted a shoe below the ankle (not a boot) that was made with synthetic materials (no animal products) and temperature rated. Slip-on was also a major plus! These shoes are super warm, comfy, low-cut, and have nice traction. I originally bought the Luna/gray but for some reason there seemed to be a slight blue/gray tint to them - a really cool color, but not as universal as I was looking for - so I ended up exchanging for the black, which I love. I can finally stop buying and returning other shoes that don't work. Thank you Hunter!

HOLY MOLY. THE HOLY GRAIL OF BOTH HOUSE SLIPPERS AND OUTDOOR SLIPPERS. These fit like a DREAM out of the box. They look amazing and neat, and relatively attractive for what they are. I'm so stoked to wear them for EVERYTHING for fall. They are perfectly cozy as it, true to size (if you tend to have a wider foot), and could probably put socks on with them. I don't think anything will change but as of now, I AM OBSESSED WITH THEM.

Sadly I did not find these at all warm. Have been wearing them for several weeks. Even in not-that-cold weather (ie. 50-60 degrees in New England), if these shoes got wet (ie. in rain or heavy dew), the water, while it didn't leak into the shoe, make the interior very cold! These shoes LOOK pretty warm so I gave them the benefit of the doubt and kept trying them in different conditions with different socks but my feet, especially my big toes, ended up chilly no matter what. I wanted a vegan, slip-on, waterproof shoe to wear when walking the dog or just running errands but these won't work for me. They are otherwise comfortable and maybe would work for someone who needs waterproof shoes in a warm climate?

I wish half sizes were offered. The size 7 was too small; my toe touched the top of the shoe. I then ordered a size 8, and these feel too big. I will keep the 8's, but I will have to wear several pair of thick socks for comfort.

Love these! They're perfect to slip on easily to walk the dog. Love that they're waterproof and also pretty cute.

These are like slippers. Very comfy and warm. They were good for taking the dog out but I wouldn’t go any great distance in them. They have little support.

The size and fit ran true to size, the materials are good quality, but there was zero comfort in the sole. No support at all for the ball of the foot. It felt like I had nothing between my foot and the ground. I'm sad that these didn't have that support I need and I'll have to return them.

Instantly comfortable. Needed shoe to quickly slip into to run errands & walk dog: This was was finally “The Shoe.” Sole is flexible enough to bend with my step... other clog shoes were too rigid. I am a 9-1/2, sometimes 10 in running shoes, so tried both size 9 & 10. The 10 was ok if I had heavy socks, the 9 was slightly big if I went barefoot. I ended up sticking with the 9 and wear light to medium weight socks. Was concerned abt how slip-on this would be — it’s not touchless, no matter how loose the cord, which I keep unloosened - a I still need to use my finger to slip it over my heel. Is warm enough to keep my feet comfortable in cool weather, but would not wear if freezing cold, unless for a brief dog walk.

Wow! Amazing and roomy waterproof shoes. For the rainy season, I wanted something waterproof that was easy to slip on and off. Boots are more than my lifestyle needs. I work from home and going outside these days is typically me in my best work sweats heading out for quick jaunts in the yard, walk the dog for 10-20 mins, or run errands where I am in and out of the car. These shoes are perfect! The fact that these are lined is awesome. I can go from house slippers to these shoes then back to house slippers in a flash, socks optional. These are plenty roomy, too. I am a solid size 9 in shoes and I worried these would be narrow fitting but they are not at all. Highly recommend!

So glad Hunter makes these in an ankle style. Easy to slip on and off. Originally bought them for rainy weather walk the dog, get the mail and errand running and they quickly became my everyday shoe. Then I started wearing them to do garden work. Now I need another pair to keep nicer for the errand running. They are the warmest, driest, most comfortable shoe I have owned in a long time. My orthotics fit well. Since I am ordering another pair my husband has requested that I get him a pair as well. I usually wear a size 8, ordered a size 8 and it fit perfectly well.

I am always a size 7. When a shoe doesn't fit I ordinarily don't buy it because I could never size up or down. I didn't know this is a european shoe size. Had I know that I would have ordered a 37. Instead it ask you for your shoe size which for me is 7. But when shoes are European I need a 37 which is the equivalent to 61/2 -7. They are half size big

This shoe runs very large. I probably could have ordered 2 sizes down. If you have small ankles, this shoe is not for you

I've had these for more than a year and I really love them! I'll be wearing them again today on a coldish, grey winter day in Michigan. I'm a size 5 and that size fit me perfectly. I use the toggle on the back of the shoe but it does stick out a bit which is sort of annoying, but certainly not a deal breaker.

I'm a 8 1/2 to 9 depending on brand, these run a bit long and wide, so the 8 is plenty roomy - even when adding a light wool sock. I have a fairly normal to narrow foot, and these are my "go to" for hour long walks on pavement, plowed trails in snow, and slippery plowed sidewalks in upstate NY. They are really warm; although I wear a wool sock if I'll be out an hour or more on snow as the rubber does covey cold temperatures. They are super easy to slide into, hose them off if salt or mud is involved - my favorite go-to shoe for dog walks in the north country. You may need to size down if a 1/2 size. And style...kind of cute! Note to those with puppies - the sizing tab at back is a natural draw for puppy teeth! Thus, ordering my second pair due to originals becoming a chew toy.

I chose these over the Sperry Duck Boot because of their more flexible footbed. My two mild complaints are 1) I didn’t want the toggle at back; maybe later I’ll think differently; and 2) some idiot decided they should sew a polyester label into the insole directly under the heel. What??!. Totally can feel it and is irritating. That could be removed with a seam ripper though. Fortunately I found my own light insoles covering theirs made this shoe even more supportive and comfy and now the fit is PERFECT.

Very comfortable and stylish. The light pink is very fun and easy to clean. Warm inside no need for socks.

Love these shoes. They look great. They run big but the pull tab on bottom helps hold them in place.

They run a little big. They have a pull tie on the back so they won’t fall off. I guess with socks the fit would be perfect but with the fur lining I like the idea of slipping on and off at my yoga studio. Love them !

Worth every penny.. I love this shoe/booties for everyday wear. It’s easy to slip on and they’re Sherpa lined so I can wear them with or without socks and still be snug and warm. I’m usually a 7 1/2 and I got a 7. Plus I can wear them in the snow (has great traction) and in the rain (the trademark Hunter material keep my feet dry). Love! Love! These Hunters! Practical, functional and fashionable!

Exactly what I was looking for! Protection from wet grass from dew when I take dog out! Will be great in snow as well...room for warm socks too.

I was looking for a slip on shoes that was waterproof to take my dog out in the mornings. I had been using flip-flops but it was getting too cold for that. I wanted something I could wear without socks for ease. And these are perfect! So comfortable and love the soft lining.

I needed a slip-on shoe to take the dog on business walks in colder months and this shoe is perfect in every way. It fits perfectly (I’m a 7.5 and size 7 was a perfect fit: 8 was huge). It’s waterproof, insulated, and warm. Good traction on all surfaces and climbing small hills. It also came in handy for going to work on a slushy day. I love it!
