I have many pairs of Mephistos and these are wonderful right out of the box. My feet are sensitve to breaking in new shoes and there is no breaking in of these. Soft and cushiony as soon as I put them on. These are a tad bid wider than many of their sandals which is perfect for me (I wear Wide width in Munro). I added a Soul Insole Micro Size Gel pad for my high arches and it makes these sandals perfect. I did not find these sandals to be too short in length. Highly recommond if you have foot pain. The sandals are super light weight which is more comforable than heavy cluncky shoes. Love, love them!

I’ve always worn an 8 but the 38 (8) was too short

I am a size 8 in most shoes, very occasionally a 7.5. I have narrow feet and high arches. I ordered both the 8/38 and 9/39 here. The length of the 38 is definitely on the short side, but my heel does not hang over. The shoe feels very secure on my foot but comfortable and easy to walk in. I liked the length of the 39 but the rest of the shoe was too loose. Returning the 39. Photo is of the 8/38.

I've never tried Mephisto before but always wear an 8 to 8-1/2 in all other brands. Ordered and 8... too small. Returned and ordered 9 ... still too small! Hopefully the third time will be the charm... just reordered in size 10!!! Be warned- These sandals run a full 1-1/2 to 2 sizes small. I would not have persevered if the sandals were not SO nice! I ordered Camel Scratch and its really a nice neutral tan that will be so versatile, and the leather is sturdy enough to hold its shape well over time. The combination of the small platform sole/ small heel very comfortably gives a little extra height. I'm really looking forward to wearing these this summer.

Bought the leopard. Super cute. These run small. I wear an 8 in shoes and order smaller in sandals because they tend to look big on my feet for some reason and I don't like a lot of extra shoe showing. I originally ordered a 37 and couldn't get my foot into it. Then I ordered a 38, which fits but there is a tiny bit( a few millimeters) of overhang in the back. I am now ordering a 39 to try those out. I will be keeping one of them. I would order in multiple colors but they are super expensive for me. I got the leopard on sale. Love the look of these shoes!

Very comfortable and stylish. Have been buying Mephisto for years because helps with my plantar fasciitis. Love this sandal!

I may have kept if not for style -I think I just prefer not having the slit on top but would not have known that without trying them on. I typically have plenty of room in a 41 but these felt a bit short to me and just overall too snug to accept a style I’m not in love with. Materials seem to be of decent quality -thinner upper material than say the leather straps on a Helen sandal (Mephisto) and I liked the subtle material pattern.

Really nice looking but unfortunately not as comfortable as I need for a lot of walking. No arch support and not the comfort I’m used to in a Mephisto shoe. I had hoped the reviews were right but just didn’t work out for me.

Disappointed that I did not feel much of an arch in these, and what I did feel hit me in the wrong part of the foot. I will stick with Papillio by Birkenstock!

I wear a 9 . I couldn't even get my foot in the shoe. 1-2 size smaller than a normal size 9

Fabulous, stylish shoes with just enough heel to feel dressed up and oh so comfortable.

Runs small

Absolutely love these. The leather is a wonderful quality. They are light on your feet and super comfortable. Wish they came in black too!

As has been mentioned by others, the shoe ran small so I ordered it up one size. The shoes were very comfortable, looked great and could be worn immediately without a break in period. Unfortunately, one shoe was too tight in the instep because of swelling from a previously broken foot. The shoes were returned.

Love the height of heel, comfortable cork sole. And the silver-white color is perfect. A go to comfort shoe for all your wardrobe . Getting the orange color also!

This is perfect if your foot does not have a high arch. My foot is flat and usually I can't wear a lot of styles because they gap on the top of my foot, but this is fantastic. I usually wear a size 9.5 and I had to go with a 41. Love them!

I always size up with this shoe for a fabulous fit. Purchased the orange this time which is the color of a creamcicle. Will go with everything. Highly recommend this slide

I love these Mephisto sandals but they run a full size too small! I’m a 7.5 M always but I have to go up to a 39!! Hoping they will work out.

Great shoe; I sized up after reading the reviews. I ended up returning them only because I found another shoe whose style I happened to like more, but these were exactly as advertised and were comfortable on my wide feet right out of the box.

Super comfortable and reasonably stylish. They do run a bit small.

These are great shoes and I love them, but know that the sizing is way off. I wear an 8.5 to 9 so I ordered a 9. They were small so I ordered a 10 which is also small. So I ordered an 11. Hope you will size way up and save yourself some time and effort.

These are really cute! I ordered a 40 but meant to get a 41. Will reorder in correct size and probably get the grey as well. I typically wear a size 9.5-10. I like that these are a bit more feminine than many of the wedge slides (because the leather doesn’t come up as far on the top of your foot and look chunky). They feel as though they will stay on your feet just as well as those with more coverage. These will pair nicely with dresses, pants, jeans or shorts. I wear a 10 in Brooks sneakers and a 41 in Birkenstocks, in case that helps.

Very comfortable mid-heel wedges. Comfortable to walk in on day 1, right out of the box. Very soft leather, and the cork wedge/suede insole are super comfy. Needed no break-in time at all! This is why I love Mephisto, worth every penny.

This is a stunning shoe and if I didn't need intense arch support I would have kept it

These are like all of my other Mephisto’s - - you put them on and they are already comfortable! I love these shoes - considering other colors (when I get another paycheck)
