The sizing is very odd. I normally wear a size 10 in most shoes but I know that sometimes certain brands and models can run big or run small. I ordered a pair of these Cole Haan Zerogrands in a 10 and they were far too big--much longer in overall length than I could tolerate. I felt like I would be tripping over all the excess shoe sticking out beyond my toes. So I exchanged them for a pair of the 9.5 size. These were far too small. My toes were right up against the edge of the shoes and, oddly (since I have narrow feet), they also squeezed my toes from the sides. I talked with a customer service representative from Zappos who suggested that maybe the first pair of 10s I ordered was defective so I exchanged the 9.5s for ANOTHER pair of 10s. I tried these on today and they're just as too-big as the first pair I got. It's too bad; I like the style but if a size 10 is too big and a size 9.5 is too small, I guess there just isn't a pair of these shoes for me.

This may just be me, but I have had the unfortunate track record with Cole Hans - I purchased this pair around a year ago, and every time I wear it and have to walk around to any extent, they give me blisters on my right heel that I can't seem to shake. Additionally, they don't provide great arch support.

I LOVED my previous pair of Zerogrand shoes and wore them until the soles were smooth, but this pair have been shockingly uncomfortable. The backs of my heels have been rubbed raw from walking 1.5 miles when my train broke down, and the shoes were already broken in - this didn't happen when they were brand new or anything. I'm surprised because I regularly walked up to 2 miles stretches in my previous pair. I think the problem with these is the lightweight material. It's nice in theory for the shoes to be extra lightweight, but not worth it for them to cut into my skin.

My 2 Zero Grand 9.5M shoes Generation ZG STCHLT were different sizes!
I pair was tight. The other pair was huge!!!
Very upsetting and a nuisance trying to change them. Bought on line.

I have high arches and this shoe is not great for that. I couldn't even get my foot in the shoe for fear of damaging the fabric. And, it appears to run large. I had to check to make sure it was actually a size 10 (it really looked like a size 11). Also, the shoe is not great quality. It looks and feels cheaply made.

See Omer's review. I am experiencing the exact same thing. I purchased my shoes 1 day shy from a year and there is visible cracking on both shoes along the white border. After seeing Omer's review I didn't bother calling customer service. It is a very comfortable shoe but the quality is questionable after only a year and it is not like I wore these shoes every day. Be warned.

Returning. They don't fit well, felt like thin shells that will rip out the holes for the laces in no time. Nervous to lace them up. Looked less stylish and young in person.
