This boot has a piece of plastic that is meant to hold the heel in place. It rubs against the side of my heel and I didn't dare to keep them. Also, as lovely as the boot is, it is made of suede with no protective rubber coatings. I don't think they'll hold up to my planned mountain hikes.

Love them, and the overall fit was OK, but the toe box is just too narrow on these....my toes can't really move. Of course, that would keep my feet from moving forward on a downhill trek, which is a plus, but I need a little more room.

I love ECCO's--they are sooo comfortable and fit my somewhat narrow foot well and now a hiking shoe--GREAT! Had to order up a size for some reason but the next size up fit perfectly with plenty of room. I had read an earlier review that I thought said the shoe was NOT waterproof but it is 100% Gortex guaranteed waterproof so look forward to wearing them a lot this winter. Not as bulky as regular "hiking boots" can be and love the grey color!!

I bought the medium wide because Ecco shoes generally run more narrow than other shoes and that is what I need. The fit is great if you have slightly narrow feet. As I read from other reviews, it is VERY difficult to put on the shoes because they have an elastic piece at the top. I just bought a shoe horn so I hope that helps. The shoe is giving me great support, maybe part of that is due to the strange elastic piece.

Loved these boots but they were too narrow for my feet. Hate to return them.

Fit and size are fine. My feet don't normally sweat. They do sweat now, a lot when I wear them any time or the day

I got this for daughter, as I loved the style and had great experience from another Ecco shoe. She has bigger feet than I have, so when she complained about the size, I was thinking that I am in luck, and tried it on. But the shoe is also very narrow. I probably have been through 20 Eccos over the years and love all but two. This one was one of them. Style looks great.

Bottom on first trail :(. I love ECCO's and bought all of my kids these shoes for our TREK in CO, very first trail didn't even get going and my daughters sole tore...this has never happened with ECCO's. I'll try to return...
