Prefer less cotton but other than that great sock

I love Stance socks and their prints. I have a subscription and have bought pairs of socks for 6-7 years. They are 80% of what I have in my drawer. Recently I have found the newest socks wear holes rapidly under the ball of my foot while I have pairs purchased years ago that are still going on strong. It's been a common trend with newer socks and I wish they would take a look into their production.

Fabric is a little stiff and the colors were not quite as expected.

I love stances socks. Especially, the butter blend and, recently, the infinite blend. However, after wearing this pair of socks once, a thread came loose and I have a hole developing in the bottom of foot.

I was shopping for men's socks. This sock is listed under the men's department and from the online ad, it looks like a unisex sock. The label when I received it was that it's a woman's sock and customer service told me there's no difference except it might fit more snuggly. I wish the ad was clearer about exactly what it is.
