Nice shoes. They are more flexible (sole) than I hoped. Good looking and nice lacing system.

These shoes work well for general workouts ie cardio, HIT etc but for me, on a jog, the arch rubs & causes blisters on both feet. They're also pretty heavy for joggers.

These hiking shoes started off great. But after about 4 weeks, the material near the pinky toes was separating/ripping from the rubber toe area. I was able to return - thankfully.

Love the toe box on these -- lots of room. But they were too wide in the back for my foot.

I love Salomon shoes and have been wearing them for years. This shoe is definitely larger than normal sizing. I’ve never had problems with sizing, but now I’m leary to buy without trying them on. Fortunately, Zappos has free returns.

Having a pair of Soloman hiking shoes that i love, i thought their trail runners would be great. Zappos suggested a size larger for me but i ordered what my hiking shoes are and they were HUGE! Ran way larger....so, I can't really review them on anything else

Heel is too wide. Just trying them on and taking a few steps, the shoes were slipping on my heel even though my toes were at the end.

These replaced XA PRO 30 ( which replaced an earlier shoe I had that was nearly identical XA PRO.) In most shoes I wear an 8/12. Salomons I buy an 8. The other shoes were fantastic, wore them right out of the box. Super stable for walks in various terrains. Long lasting shoes. I wore this shoe for a short walk, about 1/2 mile & other than having a new shoe stiffness - it felt ok. It seemed Maybe a bit wide in the heel compared to my others. Tried variations on tightening. A couple days later I wore them on a two mile walk. Half way out starting rubbing on my left heel, so had a blister. I will bandaid my heels before wearing the shoes again & hope the shoes eventually break in okay.

These shoes are heavy, stiff and feel like walking in bricks that have been carved out for you to place your feet in. On wet and slippery terrain, I found my foot going one way, and the shoes another. Hiking over wet rocks and tree roots = I almost twisted my ankle because of the stiff structure of the shoes. They are a very boxy, no give shoe and are not... not waterproof. I gave them a good try, a couple of miles a day on them, and my shins felt the complete lack of support in these shoes. The positioning of the arches, also made my feet hurt a great deal. Very unhappy with make, quality and overall make up of the shoe. And if you use them for hiking in wet terrain... they give me no support what so ever and at times I caught myself having to bend and contort my body so that my knee and ankle didn't get pulled into a different direction. Really tired of poor quality stuff that cost a lot. :(
