I absolutely love these. Regular laces rather than quick laces, hurray! They're immediately super comfortable and true to size (I take the same size I do in most brands and other Salomon shoes) - mind you, I've got pretty average feet and am not much of a goldilocks where shoes are concerned. I have a pair of Outline GTX shoes, X Ultra 2 GTXs, and a pair of Quest Prime GTXs, and I think these are my new favourites. They feel light but secure, and have incredible traction and grip, wet or dry. The shoe feels nice and supportive, but flexible, and the rand provides the protection you want at the front. The upper material is really interesting, and seems to repel water very happily. I've trudged through pretty high watery mud in these and kept dry feet. Their waterproof performance doesn't seem to affect breathability to a noticeable degree, but then I don't get sweaty feet much, so your mileage may vary. The colours are great, too. And... a shoe designed for women, instead of a women's version of a men's shoes? It shouldn't be unusual but it is, and feels like a bit of a treat. Meanwhile my boyfriend is sad he can't get himself a pair of Vayas too! I'd wholeheartedly recommend these.

These shoes have taken me on various terrain in Utah... from the trails of Ogden to the slickrock of Moab to the city streets! This shoe is so lightweight, I am amazed! I love the casual look and yet they are still so technically sound, just like my other Salomons. The roomy toe box is roomy and the grip and fit are top notch. I feel like I can wear these out for tacos AND on the technical trails. Hooray!

I bought these shoes about a year ago and since then I wear them almost everyday. It is perfect for everything, starting with quick walk with your dog, to all day hike in the mountains. We even wear them in the winter! With proper socks and gaiters (shoe covers) you can walk in 40cm of snow and your feet remain warm and dry. Shoe is wider which is something I prefer but it might be too wide for someone so I recommend trying in store. Worth every penny!

I bought these in preparation for a trip to Iceland. I wore them early to break in and like in the reviews I read, they didn't need it. Definitely recommend

It's the first time I have bought Salomon shoes and so far I'm delighted with them. I wanted goretex to keep my feet dry on wet days when walking dogs.

I bought these for urban hiking, but now prefer them for hard-core hiking as well. I like the fact that they feel so light on my feet. I had to buy the Salomon gaiters so rocks and mud wouldn't get into them. I tend to get them very muddy, but they wash fairly easily.

I bought my first pair of Solomon shoes a few months ago and loved them so much that I bought these ones and love them also.

Purchased this shoe to wear while teaching PE outside - keeps my feet dry on the dewy mornings along with excellent support (usually struggle with shin splints in Sept, not this year!) Very happy with this purchase!

I'm 65 years old and thought I'd never get back on the trail again due to the seemingly impossible task of finding a shoe that is both wide enough for my aging and spreading feet as well as a shoe withOUT aggressive arch support. The VAYA GTX solved my problem. I'll also add that I have a high instep and narrow heel and find that this style fits well and is TTS.

Took a risk and bought these online during lockdown. So glad I did. Great comfort and so lightweight.

The upcharge for GTX is totally worth it in these shoes. Trail running often includes puddles, creeks, and other wet situations. These shoes handled it all, in great comfort and performance.

Love these shoes, very comfy and stylish...And waterproof is a bonus for my walks in the forest...

I really like the style of this shoes, but it's kind of flat. I have to buy an additional insoles because I have a flat feet. I wish there's more arc support for the price I'm paying for. I usually wear 7.5, but reviews says size down and 7 fits great.

Many shoe brands (Nike, new balance....) make my toes go numb because the toebox is too narrow - and specific wide width shoes are too wide for me. The Vayas are one of the most comfortable activewear shoes I've ever worn, and have good grip for day-hiking in the mountains. I just bought my second pair and I'm sad they seem to be going away.

I got these from @Salomon a few months ago and they're GREAT! Essential footwear on a hike is essential and these shoes sum up a good hike experience. I didn't need to break into the shoes as they already felt very comfortable the very first time I wore them. The shoes have a lot of cushioning around the foot and generally feel like you're walking on clouds. The material is waterproof which is a plus for early morning hikes with dew along the trails. I also get a lot of compliments along the trails which is a plus. :)

This is my 3rd pair of Salomons and they don't disappoint. I generally take a size 4 or 4.5 in a shoe but I take 5.5 in Salomon. I used the measuring instructions that was suggested and they are perfect. I look forward to many more miles in my new and comfortable walking shoe.

One of my favourite walking / hiking shoes. 100% waterproof, looks great and very comfortable. I walked with them in the local park, hike in Lake District and on the road. Definitely would recommended.

I've only had these about a week, but wore them to a dog trial: 2 days in wet fields of 6 inches or so grass. My feet stayed dry & I didn't even need to switch to me extra socks. They fit a bit big, but I wanted them for fall/spring trials so I wear thicker socks then, anyway. I went for Saloman's because they are the only shoes that have worked keeping me dry & these work as well as my old (worn until falling apart at the seams) shoes do.
