Comfortable, great fit and true to size, tested waterproof and feet remained dry. So far had no issues with grip as raised with some other reviews but overall very happy with these trainers

The design fit all of my requirements - black, understated design, waterproof, light weight. They fit pretty well the first day so I thought I had found my ideal shoe... then it wore a hole in the top of my foot because of a bump inside the shoe where the lacing support area meets the thinner part of the top. I can try using moleskin for awhile to see if it loosens but I'm not feeling optimistic since it feels fairly hard in that spot from the inside. The speed lacing is almost nice, but this shoe lacks the tongue pocket that every other speedlace Salomon shoe has for some reason, so it flops awkwardly.

These fit great but the speed lace doesn't have a good landing spot- these laces, unlike all other speed lace salomons, can not be hidden in the tongue so they just dangle in an awkward elastic loop. Other than that, great shoes.

I just bought them a week ago. I own other kinds of salomon footwear. Poor shoelace system for this shoe. I don't know why the shoelace storage that is usuallt on top of the tongue of other salomon shoes is not part of this one. Going to have to buy regular shoe laces. Disappointed in Salomon.

This is the only Salomon shoe I would never recommend. The front half of the shoe has a thin sole and no support. The heel has great support.

Really uncomfortable shoe, too narrow for my foot. Been wearing them for 3 months now hoping I can wear them in but shoes are not getting more comfortable.

please check your quality control, these shoes squished my toes , put tennis ball in shoe to stretch , toke about a week of stretching , they feel better now .this is the second pair I've had to do this with . as along time customer i never had to do that before ,why ?

I bought these because I have a pair of Salomon boots that have lasted over a decade. I loved these shoes initially, but after nine months the padding has split through to the plastic at the back of one shoe, so I can't use them without getting a blister on my ankle. Also, on one of them the tightening cord has begun to fray, and on the other the loop that is supposed to hold the tightening cord in place has come unstitched. This is from relatively light use - I haven't been doing much proper outdoor stuff over the last year. I might have just been unlucky, but the build quality didn't match the price tag.

Disappointed, I bought this as my second Salomon shoes after my initial pair split after 2 years. Was looking forward to them as the others were comfortable from the start. Got the same size as before but these are too tight, used once and got a great blood blister. Would recommend you look at a size up from what you normally use. So money wasted and an unusable pair of shoes.
