I own 3 pairs of mission X3. Was upset to learn they were discontinued. Went with the closest newer shoe same size and my foot is swimming in them. I'm usually a 9.5 so am exchanging for a 9 just to see but already unhappy with the style and sadly don't see myself being able to keep these and continue being a loyal fan of Salomon. Please bring back the older style or something similar!

Unfortunately these are just huge.Out of the box they look like an 8. I'm a 6.5..They say 6.5 and practically fell off my feet. how can the size be so far off. Figuring out how to return is not easy either..Please advise I am at a loss. great looking but made for a a duck.

I bought these in the same size as my previous Salomon trail runners but there's an extra couple inches these shoes have that cause me to trip multiple times whenever I go for a trail run

I have been rocking the Salomon X-Mission 3 in an 8.5 and loved them but they finished their lifeline. I am always between an 8.5 and 9 but because my other Salomon's were 8.5 I went with the 8.5. I am NEVER an 8. I'm not sure why but I have a solid extra inch in these XA Pros to the point that every time I go out on the trail, I trip at least 8-10 times because there is extra shoe there when I am not used to having the extra length. My heels also rub because my foot slides around. Of course, as with all Salomon shoes- the shoe it well made, I just feel like these are in a totally different sizing category.

I LOVE the color, and tho they're stiff, thought they'd be ok. I'm a rough trail walker and thought the sturdy manufacture would be great. After only 40 minutes I have shooting pins-and-needle pain. I REALLY wish I'd looked for a rep to speak to before buying them; very disappointed.
