Upon sliding my foot into this shoe the heal was immediately painful. While there is an extra little padding on the inside of the heal (that you would think would make it very comfy) the very scratchy, hard, woven shoe material rises above the pad and was very pokey into my Achilles tendon. I have very wide feet and finding truly wide shoes is a challenge. Even though these were labeled wide they look like regular width or even narrow. I thought the static looking woven fabric of the shoe looked really cool but sadly, they were back in the box in seconds due to the heal discomfort and lack of width in the toe area.

It's hard for me to tell about shoes. I have Diabetic Neuropathy in both feet, which means I have little feeling in them. Having bought all new shoes 3 yrs ago, all felt comfortable and great on my feet. But, with the Neuropathy, guess I couldn't feel them and as a result, I developed Bunions. I've been looking for soft-sided shoes, hoping that would help the problem. I've been looking for a "sneaker" type of shoe and hoping these would fit the bill, but they hurt my feet. I keep looking. I've gone through so many pairs of Zappo's shoes, but know there will be something out there for me. Thanks for the free shipping.
