Perfect.

I love the style of these very classy yet versatile boots that can either be worn with a dressy outfit or leggings. The material does not look like cheap fake leather like my old pair. The wide calf is perfect since not excessively roomy. The size is too small however...an 8 with socks is too tight and I cannot remove the boots from my feet. I otherwise love the boots so will wear with nylons or very thin ankle socks since 8 1/2 is currently sold out.

If you are debating between two sizes, I would go with the larger one. Otherwise, great shoe and super comfortable.

The width on the calf is fine. I had issues with the width across the front of the foot, it cannot a a bit narrower than any other boot I have owned. Overall, the fit is comfortable and the style works for both dresses and jeans.

I'm a size 7.5 and sometimes need wide calf boots. I originally ordered a 7.5 in the regular calf width style. Although the calf measurement on the standard size was fairly wide, I still couldn't quite get the zipper up and definitely would not have been able to wear them with leggings or anything other than thin socks. My calves measure approx 15.5" but my legs do swell sometimes so I need a little space. The 7.5 size felt constrictive too and smushed my toes. Definitely too small as well. I returned them for a size 8 in a wide calf. The 8 fits much better but still felt somewhat narrow (I dont have wide feet) but it's not a problem. My issue is the wide calf is now almost too wide! I can slide my hand down into the boot a little. I guess I can live with that except the ankles now look baggy which doesn't look great. Baggy ankles drive me nuts. I'm on the fence now because I LOVE the heel and general style of the boot. The faux leather is amazing and looks and feels awesome. The sizing is just a little weird and I seem to fall into some in between calf zone which is disappointing. I'm considering sewing up the elastic side panel a bit to remove some of the slack but that's a pain in the butt. The boots were 50% off the day I purchased them so I'm willing to deal with it but if I had paid full price I'd be returning them.
