Collar was too high, and too sharp. The top of the collar cut into the bottom of my ankles. Otherwise the fit was true to size and the quality was good. If they had made the collar lower I wouldn't have to return the shoes.

No support, lumpy feeling insert. Made in China, I honestly removed inserts to see if forced labor had put a note in the shoe... returned this one because it just would cause me foot pain.

Great shoes if you have to walk a long way. Like a previous reviewer said, they are hard to keep tied at first. Had to really honk down on the laces to get them to stay tied but I finally got it.

Why must people use “made in China” as a negative. Regardless of where they came from, they are very comfortable. The insoles are just fine and I have bad feet. Are they $250 orthotics? No. They aren’t advertised as such. I am quite happy with my purchase so far.

The fit was true to size...nice wider toe box. Material is leather with non-slip sole...bonus that it's waterproof. Husband plans to wear them when he serves with the American Legion Honor Guard. Zappos service was wonderful as usual.

I work in the hospitality industry as a bartender for many years. Saw these shoes and knew I had to have them since they are Rockports. I ordered a width of 2E and have to say these shoes are comfortable and support my flat feet very well since I stand most of the time at work. I highly recommend.

I have been wearing these for 2 months. No exaggerating to say they are, in fact, the best shoes I have owned. Light, high in comfort and support, holding the finish well, non slip. Excellent shoes for someone on foot a lot. I need narrow shoes, rare in stores, and hesitate to buy shoes online, but these turned out better than expected. Definitely model 8000 will be my future go-to shoes.

There is a lot to like about these shoes although one issue caused me to return them. The styling is great and the shoes are comfortable with one notable exception - see below. They seem to require a couple days' break-in time.
The tongue is a one-piece design. The sides are stitched to fabric that connects to the shoe, so the tongue does not move freely. This also creates a seam along the side of the tongue where it connects to the fabric. I found the tongue has a tendency to slide sideways towards the outer edge of my foot. On the right foot this movement combined with the seam along the edge created a lot of pressure and pain on the top of my foot at the upper right corner of the tongue. It is possible I could have softened the leather at that point to reduce the pain but I returned the shoe. The Dunham Midland Oxford Waterproof has five eyelets and a conventional tongue style that gives me far better fit and comfort.
