I have almost completely collapsed arches and flexible feet. I have a bunion and a neuroma and arthritis. I have been misdiagnosed, had a botched foot surgery, had a nerve in my foot injected, broken toes, you get the picture. I have not walked more than a half a mile in ten years. I must have tried on fifty plus pairs of shoes, with and without inserts but could never wear anything but a birkenstock sandal. That's cold in the winter in the northeast. Today I thought I 'd try one more time and went to a local running store, requesting a broad based shoe with a wide toebox, firm but flexible support. This is what he suggested. I'd love to be able to wear them without an insert but for right now, I have to wear a foam insert to assist my arch area. I'm actually wearing them now and I love them!! No one has any idea how happy I feel right now! Thank you, Topo, for this excellent shoe. I will buy more colors when they are available. I hope this review helps some other person who struggles as I did, for over ten years, to find a shoe that works for me.

This is my 5th pair of Topos (different models for different uses). Love these for trail hiking in summer when I don't want to wear a hiking boot. Great for gardening and errands as well.

I wear size 7 in 'street' shoes and always order size 8 with Topo. I loved my original Phantoms and I was nervous when they updated it, but I love these so much more! They keep my foot secure, even on steep declines. They were extremely comfortable from the first step, no hot spots. The dual lace guide on the tongue is a nice touch too. The material on top is light and breathable, the grip is secure (tested it out on steep, wet downhills this morning and all was good!). Love this shoe!!

This is my 2nd pair, I use them for the gym and short runs on pavement. Love the wide toe box.

Got these for a bit of hiking to use instead of my fave ST-3s, but have now come to realize two things: The ST3 now hurt the balls of my feet and these are SO much more comfortable! I hope I can find a road-running shoe that feels similar to this one, love it!

I absolutely love my Phantom! I just ordered Phantom 2. These are definitely better than any other brand I've worn. The wide toe box and cushion is so comfortable!

The heel to toe slope

I have had all of the iterations of the Magnifly and this is my favorite version! I was really dissatisfied by the Magnifly 2 (cramped toe box and too much cushion in the heel/achilles). But the Magnifly 3 sports a perfectly roomy toe box and secure heel with a very similar sole to the Magnifly 2 but with a fit closer to the original Magnifly and I really couldn't ask for anything else. No break in period needed and a good companion for 10+ mile long runs. Might run a slight bit big but my local store didn't have a half size down so I just went with a 9.5 and it seems to have worked out thus far! Especially with lightly padded running socks.

I have 3 pair of phantom. 9 pair of Topos. Guess you could say I like them!

Like Wide toe box

I'm recovering from plantar fasciitis & using the Magnifly for short runs. I love them! I've been using zero drop shoes for years (Vibram 5 fingers, Topo ST-2, Merrell Road Glove) but after developing PF, I switched to "fluffy" shoes to ease the pain. Now that I'm mostly recovered, those squishy fluffy shoes seem to make my knees & hips hurt more, which seemed like a sign that it's time to get back into Topos. The Magnifly feels good! My feet feel firmly in contact with the ground but there's enough cushion to make increasing my distance enjoyable. I actually bought all 3 colors to make sure I have backup shoes as I increase my distance.

I have worn Topo shoes, and hiking boots for a long time. I recommend them to everyone!

Super comfortable. Love the roomy toe box and the 3mm drop. I started running in the city during the pandemic and these are the perfect shoes.

I use my MTN Racer Topo's running on trails and also hiking. I also have Topo road running shoes and the hiking boot.

I bought these to replace my Danskos that I wear for work. I am on my feet all day long. These are the best shoes!

I have been walking 4+ miles daily for a few months so I decided to step up my walking shoe game, especially since I aspire to do more walk-runs or straight runs in them. I made the best decision in trying the Topos. It is the first time I bought my size (women's 7) and did not need to go size up. The zip foam technology and snug fit with the laces make this shoe the most comfortable shoe I've ever worn. My toes have never felt so good with the roomy toe box. I also love the Emerald/White color.

I really like the wide toe box that is the main reason for my purchase. I added my own custom insoles which squeak when I walk. That's not the manufacture fault but I'm working on what will help.

I'm a long time runner with injuries and owie joints to match. I have depended on a competitive brand that is embarrassingly ugly to keep me running but despise putting those on my feet every day. These Topo's are super light with tons of support and cushion in just the right way. Absolutely beautiful and coordinate with our NorCal spring foliage! Love and will never go back to the embarrassingly ugly again!

I run a variety of trails in these shoes, and I'd say they are very versatile. I've worn them on loose rocky trails you find in central PA, hiked the presidential traverse in NH in these, cross country style grassy trails, dirt trails etc. and they work pretty well on most of the trails and c onditions. I ran an entire 100 miler in these shoes - Single pair, without having to change my shoes! From a fit perspective - Roomy toe box, midfoot are not tight which is important for me. Improvement wishlist - suggier heel, and LONGER shoe laces please! I continue to buy these are they truly perform well!

I am super pleased with these shoes. I've worn them walking, hiking and for short runs on the trail. Felt like I'd always had them, no break in time and totally comfortable. Size fit true for me.

Out of the box comfortable. Perfect trail shoe. Love these shoes!!!
