I purchased these shoes for my autistic 12 year old...he still cannot grasp the concept of tying shoelaces. He loves these shoes! I have 3 pairs of Vans myself, so I’m familiar with their sizing, but Vans sizing varies a bit from one design to another, so I purchased my son a 4 and a 4.5, and these shoes run almost true to size. The key word is ALMOST. This design is not one of their ortholite or deluxe comfort designs, which I believe run a half size small. This particular design is not quite a half size big, but let’s just say it’s a bit roomy, in a good way. I’m keeping the size 4.5 I also purchased, and I then went on to purchase another size 4 and 4.5 in the blue. We designate one pair as a school shoe, so I should be set for about 9 months. I just hope Vans continues to make this design.

Fits true to size (I’m a women’s 8 in vans and ordered a juniors 6.5). They are super cute and look great! My only complaint is that they HURT. The back by my heel/ankle is super stiff and rubs when I walk. Got a blister after wearing them to the store for less than an hour. Just not as comfy as the vans slip on shoes. Hoping they will loosen up as I break them in!

First and foremost I love vans, esp their kid's styles and prices. I usually wear a women's 7.5-8 depending on the brand. I had to switch to a bigger size in the kids as well as purchase from Zappos because the van's website no longer sells big kid sizes above a 3. I love strap shoes because of it being an easy transition versus lacing and unlacing. They are absolutely adorable, comfy and very stylish. Would def recommend getting these to everyone!

These are hands down the coolest shoes with velcro. We have purchased several pairs over the years and would never change it up.... but the kids want more variety. They look great with literally every outdit and they hold up until our kids outgrow them. Need more variations in this style for sure

these are wonderfully stylish and they are quality. the stitching is great and the shipping was fast. they are comfortable and easy to clean. i have really narrow and long feet. i wear them so much.
