Shoe makes a popping noise originating near the ball of the foot when walking. It will drive me nuts so I'm going to return it.

Does Shew have an oddly placed ridge running down the middle of the foot bed that is very uncomfortable. I’ve had several pairs of Stripers
over the years and never had this problem.

These shoes were way to tight. Sometimes need a EE, sometimes just a D. Ordered the 'wide', but narrower than any shoe I have ever seen.

These shoes are very comfortable, but when I bought them I thought the upper was canvas. It turns out there is some canvas-like material over a nylon type material. The canvas-y stuff is flaking off, leaving a hole in the top of the shoe in that material. Very disappointed.

Very disappointed in these. I have owned many Sperry shoes but all have been their gold cup ASV 2-eye boat shoe, which are supremely well made and oh so comfortable. Was looking for something more casual for summer knock around. The Striper CVO II looked to be the perfect choice but the quality and comfort completely miss the mark. First, there is no arch support. I don't mean the arch support is a little slim. I mean the foot bed is as flat as a newly planed board. Zero arch support. In addition to that, there's no contour to the foot bed at all. slide all over the place - not because they are too wide but because there's not much to keep your foot in place. Really wanted to love these but just a swing and a miss.

I do Not like the Sperry Stripper 11 CVO! I do not like the flat sole. I can't fing the origional Stripper that the sole has three channels to funnel excess water!!!

Wish the Striper II CVO didn't have brown leather patches on tongue and heel. If you
wash them the brown dye in the leather
bleeds on to the white canvas and ruins them.
Only plus is they come in " W" width which
I need . A white or Navy classic with no leather patches that came in W Width would be true to the original and a home run!
Why "fix it if it ain't broken" !!!?!

This shoe was exactly what I wanted. Unfortunately, after less than a month the tongue on one shoe came unstitched from the elastic which allows you to wear the shoe without laces, which was why I bought them. We leave for vacation in less than a week, which is also why I bought them, so I am going to try and get them repaired on my own. Other than that they are comfortable and just what I was looking for.

Within a month of purchase the top of the toe box on the inside of the shoe came delaminated. This caused a big flap of cloth to be present in the toe box making the shoe uncomfortable and annoying to wear.
As a boat captain I need a reliable comfortable boat shoe, this isn't it

I bought a number of Striper and Striper IIs last year and the Striper II I just received seems to have very different construction (same size as the one I bought last summer). The "lip" around the entrance of the shoe (that encircles your heel and ankle once the shoe is on) is bizarrely fat and gives the shoe a "pillowy" look that, while comfortable, makes me feel like I'm wearing orthopedic shoes. Similarly, the tongue feels softer which, while comfortable, led to a "crumpling" effect that, again, feels like poor construction. Overall, the shoe is softer than the older pair so it's easier to put on, but the tradeoff on the "sleekness" of construction is not worth it. Very disappointed and don't know why this changed.

The pair that was delivered to me was defective. It had stain spots on the canvas. So I can't do a complete review.

I'm not sure if I could be more disappointed in the discomfort of these shoes. The disappointment is even greater knowing that Sperry CAN make a comfortable shoe and has before. The original Striper sneakers were the best and most comfortable shoes they ever made. I should know. i have 15 pairs of them. (that's not an exaggeration. i have that many)
They must've found a way to make them cheaper and charge more money because the quality is noticeably different. And I've tried multiple styles of the Striper II. Just terribly uncomfortable.
Lucky for me, I was able to find the original striper CVO sneakers online and they are the old style that are incredibly comfortable. I bought 6 pairs in tan so I wont have to deal with the new striper II shoes for a while.
Please fix these, Sperry. I know you're capable of making very comfortable shoes, but these aren't it.

They are very hard to get them on your feet and not very comfortable. I tried wearing them for a day (big mistake-gave up my right to return). They are what I thought I wanted because of the style, but the inter-design of the shoe is not good.

I don't know who they are using to manufacture/ship their shoes, but they should quickly consider finding a different source before they lose a large number of customers. Second delivery I've gotten with yellow stains all over the fabric. Sad to say that after years of loyalty, the frustration of constantly receiving defective products is prompting me to look elsewhere for footwear.

Opened the box and it used white shoes. Yellow spots everywhere maybe from discoloration but the bottom of the shoes definitely show that they were used.

Misleading sizes - my son needs a wide and they were far too narrow. The agent on the phone said our wide is only a quarter of an inch extra. Which is quite ridiculous quarter of an inch doesn't do anything. Quarter of an inch could be the variation during production.

Not sure why just plain oxford white isn't an option. I had to send these back because the salt washed white isnt white kind of dingy looking. Which is fine if your looking for that but regular white should be an option.

These shoes felt like being barefoot with a piece of cardboard taped to my feet. Absolutely zero support or cushioning. I sent them back immediately.
