I got the black one. It is compact and perfect for my everyday essentials like keys, wallet, big phone (note9) sunglasses (no case) and even cable and charger. Great for running errands and just keeping it simple. Love the strap, and how I can adjust it tight or loose to my body. I like that it has a zippered compartment inside (keys/wallet) and a mesh compartment. Don't really use the card slot and looks a little weird but I absolutely don't mind it. Also like that it feels very well made, the materials feel really good. I love that it has two zippers, I find it very helpful when I keep it half open. Oh, and no velcro! I was looking for a product like this (without the fanny pack look) for a while and glad Timbuk2 came up with it. I don't have to keep anything in my pockets anymore.

I definitely need a bag like this, in this size, but the Slingshot doesn't quite do it. I'm continually looking for something to carry my phone and the Slingshot promised to do that along with my wallet and any small items. The card holder inside is good for transit or office entry cards. But I may end up returning it. Here's what would make it better for me: 1. A key leash. Why isn't there one? 2. A neater way to manage the very long strap. Leaving the excess dangling is untidy and bothersome because it flaps around. Doubling it up and tucking it in the back, where it sits against the body, feels bulky. Perhaps rethink the strap and how it attaches to the bag to reduce its length. 3. Elastic loops inside the bag to hold pens, etc. (maybe in the fold). Since the bag zips open flat, anything that secures contents is welcome. 4. An outside pocket with a magnetic or velcro closure. Sort of like the Sarcoche bag but please do not make it out of mesh. I don't want what I carry to be on show to the world.

this is a great little bag when you want a small little bag to carry your battery pack, phone, keys and cards, get in and out with ease. the cross body allows things to stay in front nice and safe. I love this little bag. I bought in blue first then I added the mustard color one, then I bought black. Last color to get is the smoky grey.

I was tired of carrying large bulky bags and wanted a small crossbody. This fit perfectly. I can carry my wallet, phone, keys and a tiny tin of balm. I can even fit a reusable shopping bag in it. I have even put a can of sparkling water in here. If used efficiently (like the mesh pocket and zipper pocket), you can fit more. I started using it when I go MTBing with my kids. I just fit the strap to my waist and head on a trail. Even throw in a snack if needed. It's a basic no frills bag, so it fits perfectly for my needs. It comes in neutral colors, so can work with almost any outfit or situation. I also like that's it small enough to stow in my center console or glove compartment of my car. If there was a way to dress it up (color or material), then I'd never have to change bags. Maybe make it where the strap comes off and it becomes a clutch. Ohhhh I digress.

I was tired of always trying to " pocket" everything, keys, phone, wallet, pen, hand sanitizer and vape. This keeps everything together and better still, comfortably over my body so makes for ease of access. I tend to put things down and then forget to pick them up. Haven't forgotten anything since this arrived

After a few failed attempts at a crossbody bag for everyday use and all day wear Timbuk2 came through. This bag was made for crossbody wear and not just another bulky fanny pack to wear as a crossbody bag. Perfectly designed for my needs and easy to fit all my COVID items (mask, gloves, sanitizer, wallet, phone, headphones and more).

When I first opened the package and this little bag came out I thought to myself it's too small. But it works and I love it!

I love that it is light, it fits well against your hip, is easy to get into quickly and holds all I need for a quick trip or while on a walk.

Use this on walks, make it easier to play Pokemon, since my phone can just fit in there and I don't have to worry about it. Also not a lot of weight since it's small, so my back doesn't hurt when I wear it. Has a place for cards to be inserted, and there's a place for essentials items to fit perfectly. Wish this had a keystrap tho, but other than that, I like use this bag when I need to take my things out often. I will most likely wear this to a nightclub too.

I use this bag every day for my wallet and cell phone to free up my pockets, However, I am going to have it taken to a bag repair shop and have the strap revamped so I have a quick adjustment clip. You have to do the adjustment manually and slowly so the bag is always at the same length and position. Ali, then the excess will be higher on my body. I was trying to wear it under my sweatshirt zip up at work but this strap hangs way down behind my knees. I love the actual bag and how it feels cinched up against my body. Way better than a fanny pack worn over my shoulder.

I've purchased a few Timbuktu bags over the years and my husband still uses the laptop backpack. This small crossbody bag is great for shopping and attending NFL football games (It meets the size requirements for bags allowed in the stadiums). I can fit my driver's license and credit cards in the card holder, cash and keys in the zipper compartment, reading glasses and sunglasses along with cellphone in the main compartment. At 58 yo, short and full figured a fanny pack would add too much additional package where I just don't need it. Plus, a crossbody is more stylish and comfortable worn in the front side or back. Great product, highly recommend.

I've been looking for a small bag to put my wallet, phone, keys, etc in for those days when I'm not wearing cargo pants and the Slingshot Crossbody Bag is perfect. A few more color choices would have been nice, but that's just a personal thing and has nothing to do with the function or how well I like the bag I bought.

I really like this bag! It has just enough room for my iPhone X, keys, sunglasses...the stuff I need when I head out for a few hours. The inside has a mesh panel that snugs my phone and the rest of the bag is open; there is an odd, plastic sleeve for ID, business or credit cards (why?); the 2 zippers enable it to be opened flat, almost like a book which is helpful at bag checks. The straps are attached in a unique way, one end horizontal and the other vertical and look wider than necessary but this is really stylish, creative engineering: the bag crosses my body and stays close if I lean or bend over! Other small bags with thinner straps tend to shift and "fall" away from my torso, sort of like a shoulder bag which drives me nuts! To be clear, I have 2 other crossbody bags that work well but they're larger, almost like daypacks and sometimes more than I need. I have been searching for a smaller bag to hold my essentials: THIS IS IT !!

I wear it so it sit on my right side or can turn it and it's on my back. I can zip and on zip on my side to get my cell phone, cash in zippered pocket or my dark lenses to fit on my eyeglasses. It's like an extra larger pocket in your coat to put your essentials. It's perfect to hold your absolute essentials on the go. Plus the customer service is outstanding; I bought one for my brother and he says it's handy, but my son told me he didn't want to use and customer service helped me cancel his shipment ASAP.

I bought this bag as a way to keep my cell phone away from my body. It works amazing.. I keep my keys, vape, phone and any other loose ends in it. I love it

I could fit my Iphone6, my battery charger, cables, my vape mod, and my wallet and it won't look nearly as bulky as the last fanny pack I was using for this past couple of months. This is as good as it gets. Very spacious and one of the best quality bags I've bought from here.

It's the perfect size. Fits my wallet iPhone 8+ wallet and keys. What more can you ask for?

I own 5 Timbuk2 backpacks/ Bags etc, I bough this bag because I travel and I don't like my pockets filled with stuff or having to take my backpack off to get the essentials, , and I gotta say this bag is perfect, I can fit my keys, phone, wallet, passport, and battery pack without the bag looking bulky and tight, great bag Timbuk2

This bag is perfect for my needs. It's very secure and well made. Timbuktu always makes a strong bag that will last forever!!

I've been wearing the Timbuk2 Slingshot Crossbody Bag for about a month and have enjoyed it. It's got just enough room for my (tall) phone, keys, (tri-fold) wallet, coin pouch, portable wi-fi, earbuds, and Chapstick. I use the built-in card slot for my RFID commute card so I can trigger the toll gate without opening my bag. If anything, I wish it had one more pocket for just-in-case items, like a spare charging cable and power brick. But for everyday use, it's been getting the job done!

I use this product regularly when I am out for the day and need to bring things with me (iPad mini, iPhone, keys, wallet, chapstick, headphones, sunglasses, etc.). I did quite a bit of research on crossbody bags and this is by far the cleanest, tight to the body option available. There is room for a few minor design and dimension improvements to the bag though. It is just barely large enough to fit and iPad mini if the size was a bit larger you could easily slide the iPad into the back compartment to rest close to the body and then have your smaller items in-front of that. This would be much more comfortable when carrying my iPad. The strap is also awkwardly large and there is no clean way to store its excess piece. The interior is pretty well designed but like other reviews have stated the side of the bag with the id/ card holder is unnecessary, it would be better to have two mini mesh pockets facing up on that side. The outside could also use a mini zipper pocket to fit an iPhone (of any size) for easy access. Outside of that the bag is still pretty great. I like that it is so clean looking and doesn't look like other sling/ fanny pack bags since I'm not exactly the "street style" type and I still feel comfortable wearing it with most of my outfits. I am happy with this one and will continue to use it but if Timbuk2 made another slightly large rendition as described, I would be the first in line.

Actually, this bag is pretty close to perfect for my needs. Tired of loading down my pockets with wallet, sunglasses, reading glasses, phone, etc., I finally decided to get a small bag. After looking at the many available, I decided on the Slingshot. It's on the small side, which I like, but carries my essentials easily. Taking the bag on a long walk the other day, I did wish it was slightly larger to accommodate a water bottle. Guess I'll buy another, larger Timbuk2, for those occasions when more space is required.

I've had the bag for a few weeks and I am really enjoying it. It fits everything you need for a quick errand or full day out running around. The ONLY thing it needs is an "outside" pocket with or without a zipper to slip your phone or sunglasses into without having to unzip the only main compartment.
